Blake Chiropractic

I am new to the area and looking for a chiropractor, especially after sustaining a back injury recently. I was optimistic when visiting this chiro and encouraged by how friendly the two chiropractors were. I was coming in with an assumed herniated disc (something I have experienced before) and I left with as much pain as I walked in with. The chiro that helped me was new to the field and he hardly adjusted my spine.

He shared that they have a muscle-specific approach, which is fine when I am feeling normal. but I had a specific problem that I could pinpoint. I was not directed to lay face-down, which would have revealed how severe my back's alignment was. The chiro did one adjustment in the middle of my back and small adjustments on my neck. It was clear to me that they were inexperienced when one side of the neck adjustment took 20+ seconds and a reset for it to work. not the feeling I want to have during an adjustment.

I had momentary relief, but that was gone by the time I arrived at work for the day. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Blake Chiro. I ended up visiting a different chiro that same afternoon and when I laid face-down on their adjustment table, there was an immediate visual that my spine was out of line. If you are looking for a chiro, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We've been seeing Dr. Steele and his wife Ingrid for over 20 years, since I was a child. He helped me recover from a car accident where I wasn't wearing a seatbelt, which put my spine out of alignment at 13. Now I have my own child and I'll be taking my family to see him and his practice for as long as I can! They're caring, professional, effective, and ask about the rest of my family often. I saw them while I was pregnant and struggling with sciatica and he did more to ease the nerve pain than most everything else I was trying. I highly recommend this practice.

My chronic swollen ankle and wrist has healed thanks to chiropractic treatments with Dr. Steele. The office manager, Ingrid, is very friendly and knowledgeable, too! I had sworn off chiropractic adjustments for several years because it felt like other chiros were just going through a set routine and it wasn't really helping. My massage therapist recommended I see Dr. Steele for a chronic swollen ankle that wasn't responding to various holistic treatments.

Not only has my ankle healed from the injury, but a chronic swollen wrist was healed with one session as it was due to a bicep tendon out of its groove. Dr. Steele uses muscle testing to identify and listen to what my body needs adjusted. I see the before and after results with each session. Now that my injuries have healed, I'm encouraged to return when I feel ready. Dr. Steele is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. If you are considering chiropractic, I highly recommend this office!

The Steele Family at Blake Chiropractic is truly amazing. Since I first started seeing Dr. Steele the staff and owners have been all smiles, completely empathetic, immensely patient, and so, so kind. I can't say enough good things about them and I'm so grateful for how much they've helped me so far and how much they continue to be invested in my wellness.

I should add that "Chiropractic" doesn't due the name of the business justice. They don't just adjust bones, and release tension/pain in your joints/muscles. They are interested in your whole wellbeing from mental to physical health and beyond. That type of care is hard to find this day and age. I'll be forever grateful for their care.

I love this place. After coming here my knee has felt a lot better when running long distances!
