Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Newton Chiropractic & Wellness Centre emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could.
While we will do our best to accommodate your requested day and time, please note, your appointment is not fully booked until you get a confirmation from us! We are available 7-days a week and have extended weekday hours to accommodate your busy work schedule. Do you exercise enough? You may be at risk of developing these health conditions if you lead a sedentary lifestyle.
We understand that arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be nerve racking. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be a lot to deal with, especially if you are in pain. That's why at Newton Chiropractic & Wellness Centre our aim is to remove any stress from the process and to make your first visit more relaxed and less confusing. Our initial intake process goes much more smoothly when you already have an idea of what we do and how others have been helped by our services.
If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 2-3 times per week for 4-12 weeks. During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury.

I have been going to Newton Chiropractic and Wellness Center for several weeks for low back pain. The office and the staff are very kind and professional. I really appreciate the low impact approach that they take and especially appreciate the relief from pain that I get after each visit and the days following. I highly recommend this practice!

Network Chiropractic is essential to healing from trauma on many levels. Dealing with lots of personal grief and working with patients during Covid had blocked me as I did not process but just plowed through everything. So it's time for me to take care of me. Some doctors forget to tell this but you may be touched on your coccyx area as part of the session.

This is totally normal as we have important points in such areas. You are fully clothed and in a room with 4 other patients. You may experience a release of emotions and this is also normal. You will leave feeling relaxed. Some people fall asleep. This service is here to help you in your journey of healing so don't hesitate to express concerns and ask questions.

Iv been to several chiropractors now. This light touch NPA doesn't work. I went there for 3 months, and still walked out with pain after being assigned there to get care after a car accident. Went to two others and paid out of pocket to get the care I really needed. Bald chiropractor always had a bad attitude and when I told him I am still in pain after the funds were used up from the insurance, after 8 weeks of intensive "care" told me to get more "care" bs business. I know what to look for in chiropractors and they didn't help much.

Highly skilled therapeutic massage with Daymond. I have pain in my neck and shoulders and I can count on getting relief when I come here. Clean and peaceful environment. Respectful and knowledgeable front desk. A great place to unwind and feel better.

I would have given 5 stars, but the seats in the waiting room on the expanded side are really uncomfortable, which seems strange for a chiropractor's office. I can't say enough good things about Rebecca Cobb, one of the massage therapists. She adjusts her techniques to the needs of the moment, her techniques are effective, she uses plenty of pressure, and she's kind and professional. I have tried a lot of different people for massages, but Rebecca is head and shoulders above the rest.

My encounters st NCWC are always unmatched. Staff are terrific, friendly, attentive, professional. As a medical practitioner, I endorse the specific type of chiropractic done here: Network Spinal Analysis. The experience of receiving it may appear quite unique, but so is the result! My various pain from imbalances has been corrected several times. This is the only chiropractor I send our patients to. Marilyn Chown RN, MPH

Newton Chiropractic has been transformative for me in so many ways. I came to the in June in chronic pain and suffering from a herniated disc. Dr. Burke and Dr. Coleman helped me get beyond the pain and find a new lease on life. I feel stronger and more focused on my overall health than I have in a long time.

I had a massage with Karen and I left feeling amazing! I had a lot of tightness between my shoulder blades and lots of knots in my neck that she rubbed right out. She was also very sweet and made sure I was comfortable the whole appointment. Highly recommend!

I am so happy Dr. Burke is back. Today I had an amazing massage from Damon followed by an adjustment. I feel like I grew half an inch and can turn my head all the way to the right and left!

I saw Dr. Coleman and he was extremely thorough, compassionate, knowledgable and professional. He took time to understand me and why I was seeking Network Chiropractic care. I liked that he included my thoughts and goals in his treatment plan. After 1 visit/treatment I felt significantly better. I am eagerly looking forward to a continued relationship with the Newton Chiropractic & Wellness team.

Dodgy place, they claim they care about their clients by staying open 7 days week, with long hours which takes it toll on all, go figure. The clientele do not know anything about "health" or detoxing or the holistic life", which is so obvious around the way they look and discuss some of the offered facilities. Way too enterprising, profit over care.

Interesting. I wrote a scathing review a few days ago, and it is already removed. Tomorrow I will rewrite and follow up to the Chiropractic Association.

I have been bringing my entire family here for years - meeting Dr. Burke has truly been life changing! She has supported us through so many different stages of our life (pregnancy, postpartum, newborn, toddler, pain, injuries, high stress) and her approach is SO effective at teaching you and your body how it's innately meant to heal. Her work is so amazing that my little kids get so excited when we have an appointment and not only jump on the tables because they know they'll feel better afterwards, but they love watching how she adjusts Mom and Dad and always ask to be the helper!

I also love the Oasis - the float tanks have been incredible for soothing my nervous system, the salt room is awesome for the whole family when our lungs need some extra support, and those massage chairs are just pure heaven. I highly recommend anyone to check this place out - the healing you need (and didn't know you need!) is waiting for you inside.

A few years ago, I purchased an inexpensive Groupon for three short sessions, since I figured it's worth trying at that price. If you're thinking of doing that or coming in for any kind of assessment, I'd strongly advise you not to. These people are manipulative con artists, trying to sucker you out of your money. After the initial exam (consisting of a number of tests/measurements using various apparatuses), Dr Burke reviewed the test results in what was a long, aggressive sales pitch.

I don't remember many specific details, but it was painfully clear to me from early on that she was being manipulative and disingenuous. Her tone was patronizing (another review here notes that the other doctor talked to them "like [they] had a 5th grade education" and that's precisely how I felt with Dr Burke) and she greatly exaggerated the extent of my muscular problems in an attempt to sell me a $2000 - $3000 treatment plan. (That's why they do all those flashy tests in the beginning, with all kinds of weird devices - so they can later say "Look!

You have such and such problem. But we can solve it. for a few thousand dollars"). By the way, the treatment plan included, something like 30 massages. (If your chiropractic method is so good, why do I need so many massages? I could get those at many other places.) It was incredibly annoying to have to sit through her manipulative blabber, nodding and acting like I would seriously consider stepping foot in this quack factory ever again.

Since this was a few years ago, I don't remember specific examples of what she said to trigger red flags (but it was a shit ton of red flags). I do remember one thing - she showed and explained to me the results of one test. It was something like a diagram of your back muscles, in which specific muscles (based on the 'measurement') were colored in green, yellow, or red.

She explained something along the lines of: green means good, red means it's overworking, yellow means it's not working enough. I asked her if I can have that diagram to show to my massage therapist. She seemed surprised and retorted "She wouldn't understand it! It's taken me years to understand these things!". Oh, really?! You literally just explained it in a couple of sentences that a five year old can understand.

This place is an oasis for me. Everything from the reception to the services are done with the utmost compassionate professionalism. Although my primary reason for coming is the expert massage therapy, I'm determined to utilize other services as well in the future. My masseuse is Gina. For 4 years now she has given me intervals of total relaxation and rejuvenation.

She always provides expert, thoughtful advise and insight on optimizing my overall wellness. Her demeanor is as soothing as her skills as a masseuse. And the physical spaces are quiet, welcoming and well-equipped. You cannot go wrong here.

I never thought I would look forward to going to the chiropractor. Between the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk, to the sincerity of work and care that Dr. Burke provides, it has been such a pleasure coming here. This isn't your traditional chiropractor! They use a technique called NSA and believe in healing from the inside out, and use light touch suggestions rather than force, to encourage re-alignment of the spine, which is the control center of the body.

Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) is a form of treatment which releases and retrains deeply ingrained holding patterns and tensions. It does this through a very gentle system of light touches (called entrainments) and through coaching and exercises in breathing techniques. The chiropractor makes suggestions to your body through a series of light touches and helps your spine release tension and realign itself in a more balanced way. It's truly healing from the inside out, not a quick fix like some other methods of chiropractic that force the body to change old deeply ingrained habits. Dr. Burke & Dr. Coleman helped my back tremendously and I could not recommend Newton Chiropractic more.

I have done the hydromassage, traditional massage, orthotics and chiropractic care here and benefited immensely. My neck was protruding 34° forward and in just under a year, it was down to 18° (0 is perfect posture). If you're considering going to Newton Chiropractic for any reason, go here without a doubt! You won't regret it.

I stumbled upon a GROUPON deal for 2 visits and decided to give it a try. I'd never seen a Chiropractor before. I met Dr Burke during my 2 visits and I must say that she and her staff are just great. Dr. Burke patiently listens and explains what adjustments she would be doing. After two visits, I have felt some relief already. Hydromassage which is also included in the package is just awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone who has never tried it before. The office is very clean and staff is very friendly. Overall, this centre deserves 5 stars.

Want to feel violated and uncomfortable? Nick Penzarella is the guy for you. There is little professionalism during the entire session. Results of test and analysis (that are immediately printed and available) are not reviewed with you unless you return. You will be distracted by nonsense babble while your questions are never fulfilled with a medical a scientific response. I could not get out of there fast enough.

I am in complete disbelief of all the positive reviews that I have read here. I have seen about 3 chiropractors over past 6-7 years, and all that I have seen prior to this visit were helpful. There is nothing wrong with my back or neck, I just like to get adjustments 2-4 times per year because I lift weights regularly (4-5 times per week for the past 15+ years) and I would like to know everything in my back is properly aligned.

I saw a Groupon for this wellness center and figured it was a good deal to "get my back cracked" and get a hydro-massage. I scheduled an appointment for 12:45 pm on a Sunday. I arrived at 12:30 to fill out any necessary paperwork. I waited in the reception area until 1:30 until the chiropractor would see me. Right away he told me that he isn't the traditional type of chiropractor and there would be no "adjustment" of any kind.

I was disappointed. Then, he proceeded to inform me how in United States it is standard to use 65 lbs (I believe he said 65 lbs) of force to deliver a baby from the mother's womb and because of this many or most of us walk around dealing with the trauma our entire lives. This got my antenna up. I do not have a medical background, but I do have a background in electrical and computer engineering, none the less it seemed a bit suspicious to me that most of 300 million people were delivered incorrectly or in traumatic fashion.

He then proceeded to take a series of measurements with his equipment (most of the results of which he did not go over). However, after one of the readings he said that the device measured the conductivity of my spine. I proceeded to ask "what are the units in which it measures conductivity?" He did not have an answer, just said it says "Good, Bad or Average." I told him that conductivity is the inverse of resistance (measured in Ohms) and that it is measured in Siemens, or Siemens per unit length.

To measure conductivity of my spine, he would need to connect metal rods to the 2 ends of my spine directly, insulate it from any other tissue (so the current travels ONLY through that medium and not any other conductive material around my spine) and pass a current between those two points. This would be quite intrusive and painful and I have no idea if medically that is even valuable.

Simply placing 2 sensors on the skin of my back (as he did with his device) would not measure anything of the sort. He offered to show me a brochure for his machine. I read the brochure, NOT once did it even mention anything about conductivity of any kind. It talked about determining "muscle activity" analogous to heart electrocardiogram (EKG). Again I am skeptical of a value of these reading because a heart is a unique involuntary muscle which engages regularly to pump blood unlike the muscles in your back, which are not flexing with regularity when you're just standing there with your back relaxed. However, I will say, I would have to believe in flying unicorns before I believe anything he said about "spine conductivity" honestly that just sounds insulting.

There are several other more subjective reasons I did not like about my visit, but overall I came away feeling that the chiropractor was dishonest. It felt to me like he attempted to find some anatomical imbalances (which is often normal for a human being to have, none of us have identical sized left and right feet or hands, it doesn't necessarily make you ill if you can turn your head 5 degrees more to the right then left) and then try to convince the patient that this is the cause of any pain or discomfort he/she is experiencing. I came away feeling skeptical about this establishment to say the least.

I purchased a groupon last fall in a final attempt to fix my chronic back pain. I had never tried chiropractic and was very skeptical as I had tried many other avenues to fix the pain. I started seeing Dr. Penzarella and after a few visits became amazed with the results! He was very informative about what was causing my pain and how to fix it, I found his approach to be very professional and I am now pain free!

What a blessing! I will definitely be recommending him to my friends! The women at the front desk are also extremely friendly and helpful. The only part of my experience I did not fully enjoy was the hydro massage, however others seem to really like it so it could be that I am very sensitive.

Shocked by all the positive reviews. Dr Pen was irritating, talked to me like I had a 5th grade education (I have a degree from Harvard Law School) and patronizing. Technigues seemed like quack chiropractics, including placing hand in the edge of my butt crack. Then charged me 35 dollars (when I usually have 0 dollars due as co-pay) when they were suppose to take UHC from the website but at the end I find out they are out of network with them. Will not be returning.

After the yelp 5 star reviews, I purchased the GROUPON coupons for 2 visits and surprisingly I find no reason to DEDUCT any of star from the review. I met Dr Burke and she was one of awesome doctor. chiropractor in MA. She patiently listens and explain very precisely what she would be doing. After the SPINE readjustment, I felt like a deep mediation and complete peace and relaxation. The office is very clean and staff is very friendly. It;s one of the best center in MA.

Update: just had my second massage with Vanessa - phenomenal again! You are seriously missing out if you don't give her massage a try. TWO WORDS: HOLY COW. I had the very best massage of my entire life (and I am a massage junkee) with Vanessa at NCWC! I will definitely be back for another soon! The rates are extremely reasonable! For Chiropactic, both Dr Burke and Dr Coleman are great! Office is very calming and the variety of services offered promote total wellness at very reasonable prices

I cannot say enough about Doctors Burke and Coleman. When I first met Dr. Burke 2 years ago, I was in profound pain resulting from 2 herniated discs in my neck. I had tried painkillers, injections, PT, acupuncture, but nothing helped. Newton Chiropractic helped me avoid detrimental surgery and allowed my body to heal naturally. I feel that they treat the whole person and help people live the best lives they can. I feel well taken-care-of in their very capable hands and recommend their practice to anyone suffering from chronic pain.
