We know that you want to learn more than just the basics, so we do things a little differently. Our focus is on you-the student-as a whole. At Central Maryland School of Massage you will learn valuable business, life, and communication skills which set you apart from other massage therapists-skills that prepare you to achieve success both professionally and personally.
The focus of this module is on performing assessments to determine a client's current state and the client's short and long-term goals. Practical exercises are performed in the Massage Therapy Lab. This module introduces systems of structured touch other than therapeutic massage. The following individual systems will be discussed: Eastern and Asian thought involving vital energy, chakras, meridians, and points.
Students wishing to transfer credit in to a CMSM program must have taken those credits from an institution which is accredited by an agency recognized by either the USDOE or the Council for Higher Education Association. Submit a transfer application (standard application with box checked indicating intention to apply for transfer credit).
