We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to La Cresent, La Crosse and the Coulee Region since 2005, and Dr. Christopher D. Wood is in his eighth year locally as a chiropractor. Our approach is simple. We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they've lost their health, our commitment is two-fold.

Dr. Ned J. Crowley is happy to be joining Chiropractic First. Dr. Crowley having recently retired from his solo practice could not resist the chance to continue his practice working with Dr. Wood. As a passionate practitioner of the Gonstead Technique, Dr. Crowley is excited to continue this work in a flourishing practice as Chiropractic First.
Named after its developer, Clarence Gonstead, this approach came from his engineering background. His "foundation principle" explains how a subluxation pattern in one area of the spine can produce compensatory changes in another. After studying your health history, we conduct a complete examination.

After suffering from TMJ for 40 years, I was beginning to think I was headed for surgery. Then, one day when I was in for a back adjustment, I asked Dr. Woods if he could help my TMJ problem. I have not had one headache since he has been adjusting my jaw. I also don't find myself waking up in the night with my teeth clenched. I can't tell you what a relief this is. Thank you, Dr. Woods!

For years, my chronic migraines and daily shoulder and neck pain made each day a struggle. I had to limit my activity and commitments. And I was missing out on time with my kids. After a four months of adjustments, I can confidently credit him for giving me my life back.
