As an active person, I've logged a ton of minor injuries that have turned pain and discomfort into a norm that I have just been living with. After years of living with discomfort in my back, neck, and shoulders, I finally decided to see someone to address the issues. Dr. Reyn Johnson was amazing on my first session, doing xrays and exercises to get the full view of my spine structure and general mobility.

He was informing me about the things he was noticing through the entire process, explaining what some of the abnormalities could be causing as well as the impact that retraining and realigning my spine could do to improve my quality of life. After only a month of treatments, I'm feeling better than I've felt since I was a kid. Less pain, better mobility, and better performance in my workouts. It's still a long road to repair years of wear and tear, but I'm confident Dr. Reyn and City Chiropractic will help me get my body back where it needs to be.

I came to City Chiropractic for treatment of pinched nerves from a bone spur. Dr. Larry has kept me active and away from surgery for fifteen years and counting. Besides providing great care, the office is friendly, flexible and enthusiastic.

Excellent care and they are helpful all around. Tara is amazing in her knowledge and the office staff is so accommodating all of the time. Dr. Larry is always positive and really focuses on your needs. I highly recommend them. They are very efficient and very caring company. The masseuse staff is wonderful and adheres to your needs.

Very happy with the work that Dr. Larry and his team do. I'm always hesitant with new doctors and the cost of going to them, but the team has made me feel comfortable every step of the way. They all truly care about the patients and want them to feel heard about any feedback they have. Initial cost without insurance was pricey, but it'll beat having to get surgery in the futureand has ensured my spine is healthy now.

Amazing staff and doctors. We were visiting Portland and my daughter hurt her back a couple days before. She was in a lot of pain and previous doctors prescribed lots of ibuprofen, which was only a temporary relief. Thanks for the team at City Chiropractic, they took us in same day, got consultation done, x-rays. After realignment, she is completely better, able to walk with out pain. I am generally weary of going to any appointments for health care, but the whole staff at City Chiropractic is super friendly and informative. Dr. Larry walked me through my first adjustment and made me feel comfortable and well cared for! Would recommend these guys any day. :

I have been blown away by Dr. Larry and his team from the moment I walked in the door! I've been a chiropractic patient for over 18 years. I'm new to Portland and I was really nervous about finding my new chiropractor. I hit the jackpot with City Chiropractic! The entire staff is so warm and welcoming and the doctors are SO thorough! I am so impressed with the amount of time, care, and expertise they give to me every week!

After each adjustment, I walk away feeling pampered, energized, and valued. The thing that really sets Dr. Larry apart is that he doesn't just go through the routine. Every adjustment is unique depending on what my body needs that day. And I love the extra care he takes at incorporating body work like massage into each adjustment. Superb service, professionalism, and care Each person from the front desk to Dr Larry is exceptional. Each member always makes me feel like their priority and genuine caring about my injury and my well being. They are always cheerful and never off task but have created a warm, inviting environment in each visit. Wonderful care by everyone and genuinely interested in you as a person as well as how best they can help in the progression to a full stage of well being. Highly recommend this staff.

It takes A LOT of bedazzling to bring me to yelp or google to leave a positive review, but let me tell you, Dr. Larry, Tara, and the incredibly kind staff @CityChiro deserve well beyond a five-star review. I arrived in Portland via Bend last Friday for a close friend's bachelor party weekend. I walked off the airplane with a brace around my neck.

Still not exactly sure how I injured myself in Bend, but I woke up that morning in excruciating pain and could hardly move my upper body. When I got to the Dossier hotel, the staff suggested I try to find a nearby chiropractor. Prior to this episode, I had never sought out nor been treated by a chiropractor. In fact, I come from a family of doctors (MD and OD) who actively discouraged me from pursuing a chiro.

But I was completely desperate; I had nothing to lose, so I called around. Most folks were busy or unavailable, as it was late in the day, on a Friday no less, and few were reluctant to take in a first-time, last-minute, out-of-state patient. Fortunately, Tara from CityChiro., found it in her heart to squeeze me in at the last minute. She struck me as a very compassionate listener. Accompanied by my best friend, Steve, I set out to find CityChiro's office, which (conveniently for us) happened to be a mere two blocks away from our hotel. Tara walked me through the process.

It was quick and easy. Some paper work, followed by a formal eval. with Dr. Moses, followed by X-Rays, then, at last, my one-on-one consultation with Dr. Larry! I found Dr. Larry to be equally compassionate and responsive to my needs. The work he did was nothing short of miraculous. He resolved some of my most immediate concerns and exposed me to some vulnerabilities and potential injury areas (of which I had no prior awareness).

I left that session leaving my neck brace behind! And, get this, the doctor said if I found myself still in pain come Saturday that he'd personally do some follow-up work on me, though their offices were closed. Muscle memory is a hard thing to unlearn, and, come the next day, I was feeling a good amount of pain. I woke up to a text from Dr. Larry asking if I needed some follow-up work.

I gladly accepted. The doctor and Tara opened the doors to their office ON A SATURDAY to help alleviate my pain. Now, that's true medicine and that's an exceptionally rare thing in today's world. I cannot recommend CityChiro enough. If I lived in PXD, I'd be a loyal and regular patient. Do yourself a favor, go and grow! -- JL

Dr Larry and Dr Adrian have helped me tremendously in the past month. I was referred by a friend who has regular adjustments. She knows I suffer from migraine headaches and have tried so many unsuccessful treatments. She shared Dr Larry's story- he himself knows the pain of migraines and the relief that chiropractic provides first hand. I am already feeling a big improvement and am looking forward to continuing treatment here.

The office and its staff make it a warm and caring experience. Besides the adjustments there are other treatment options and even things I've been given to do at home daily to help with my progress. I highly recommend this practice.

I've been a patient here for 8 years. I was diagnosed with Forward Head Posture that was causing headaches and vision problems. The curve in my neck was basically gone. I have that under control and actually restored some of the curve in my neck! A few years after that I started an intensive treatment for my lower back pain (which is now under control). I've learned through all this that every day I abuse my back (sitting in front of a computer, improper lifting, bad shoes, life in general.) So maintaining my spinal health is as important as brushing my teeth. Dr. Larry and staff are the best, they care and they help. They've got your back. (lol I couldn't resist)

I have been seeing Dr. Larry and his associates Dr. Alex and Dr. Adrian for almost a year. They provide fast, affordable care and always "adjust" their care to meet my needs. As someone suffering from sciatica and gastric reflux for years, my symptoms have been significantly reduced since making regular appointments. Dr. Larry's examination process is extensive in the beginning, but is well worth it!

He was able to identify areas of concern on my x-rays and then correct these subluxations. I always feel welcome walking in their doors and often find myself conversing with their friendly staff about my personal life. I could not imagine my life without the high-quality care that I receive through City Chiropractic.

After being in a car accident back in February I got really bad back and neck pain i needed some treatment right away! Coming to City Chiropractic has been the BEST decision i have made Dr. Alex, Dr. Larry and the staff ( Brandyn, Kylie and Tara ) are outstanding. The massage therapist are amazing, always making me fell so relaxed and pain free! I love coming to city chiropractic because when i walk out the door my body fells better and better each time. If you or you know someone that needs chiropractic treatment. Don't hasitate go see Dr. Alex or Dr. Larry i promise you, you won't regrant it!

City Chiropractic has been wonderful! The front desk staff, Tara, Brandon, and Kylie are warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The massage therapist, Mike, is kind and his massages are so relaxing. Dr. Larry has done wonders on my neck. I came in 2 months ago after a car accident. I had severe headaches, neck pain, and shoulder pain. Only 2 months later, I am feeling so much better. My headaches are gone and my pain has decreased significantly! A few months ago I had a severe pinched nerve in my neck. I called City Chiropractic and they immediately took care of everything to get me in right away. They took multiple steps to make everything easier, from payments and insurance to the care I received. Everyone is incredibly kind and I'm not going anywhere else. Couldn't recommend them more!

My view on chiropractic care has certainly changed since going to City Chiropractic. Their whole health care approach versus the neck cracking assembly line of some chiropractic offices is very refreshing. I have been seeing Dr. Larry for over a year and my health and pain level have improved greatly! Dr. Larry is very caring and compassionate, truly listens to me, and honors me as a person. The whole staff is very friendly and professional and makes me feel like a valued client.

I have been coming to City Chiropractic for a year and a half now, off and on for various reasons. The staff is incredibly helpful as well as accommodating. The customer service is what you've always hoped a health care place to be- they are very friendly, personable, and accommodating towards financial restraints and payment plans. I exclusively see Dr. Tim, but I can say all of the chiropractors are highly skilled, professional, and care about you as a whole person. Dr. Tim places a high value on my total health, and is very committed to my long term well being. It is great as a client to feel like a person who's name is known- not as a number. They have never provided with lower than a 5 star service.

I've been receiving treatment here on a friend's recommendation after a motor vehicle accident and here's my 2 cents: PROS: -the staff is super helpful, friendly, and professional -Doctors: highly skilled and passionate about what they do -Massage staff: HOLY COW AMAZE-BALLS. -You can always get an appointment. -They validate parking downtown: woot! -thorough: they've handled all aspects of my accident -high tech: swipe cards with your file right there on computer screens to evaluate, add to, etc. -I'm feeling better so they must be doing something right, right? CONS: -I live on the east side and work in NoPo, so it's a schlepp downtown for me, but whatever, and remember what I said: they validate parking, so. -adjustments are done in semi-private spaces -It's so high volume that sometimes I worry. I don't know why, I just worry. But I'm a worrier. Overall, I highly recommend them, especially if you're involved in an accident.

Dr Doug is a skilled chiropractor and a nice guy but this place operates on a max volume, get you in, get you out basis with the approach of making you feel as if your entire spine is a wreck (actually somewhat true for me) and you need to be there (for about 20 minutes at a time at $50/a pop) 3-4 times a week or you're doomed. I like Doug thus the 2 stars. Otherwise this place is an avoid.

I've been seeing Dr Tim Saruk for a year, helping me work toward my goals of getting in shape and playing sports again. He's helped me work through various sports injuries and illnesses. He's a good listener, loves what he does, and practices what he preaches. He's also great at recommending exercize and dietary changes that can help a person regain their health. Highly recommended!

There are so many wonderful things to say about the team at City Chiropractic that I don't know where to begin! The second I walked in the doors I felt like part of the family there, and knew that they genuinely cared about my health and how to effectively and efficiently take care of me. I began going there after a a year and a half of migraines that would occur anywhere between 1-5 times a week.

I was basically bombarded with headaches which affected my school performance, work performance, and really my whole demeanor. After my first view visits with Dr. Tim I began to notice a difference in how often I was getting migraines, as the week progressed my migraines lessened more and more! Nine months later, and I can't even tell you the last time I had a migraine. I am so thankful for genuine doctors who care about the improvement of my well being.

Dr. Tim at City Chiropractic has provided amazing, quality care for me after my car accident. He really changed my opinion on chiropractors and chiropractic care. Dr. Tim and the other professionals there are wonderful. Try em out!
