I don't have much experience with chiropractors outside of this one, but I know that Dr. Maffit puts in the extra time to make sure I understand the purpose behind his practice. While he's working with patients, he will keep them engaged with conversation and is friendly and willing to help with problems beyond just the spine. Office is well cleaned, the tables are sanitized between patients, and the location is right off of a major road. Conclusion: If you're looking for a chiropractor in the St. Louis, Dr. Maffit is your guy.

We have been going to Dr. Chris Maffit since he opened his practice in 2001. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a passion for helping his patients become healthier. and to stay healthy. He truly cares for each patient and their individual needs. He has helped me with back, shoulder, neck and hip pain over the last 20 years. His upper cervical care is gentle and extremely effective. He has certainly helped me maintain an active lifestyle!

Dr. Chris is awesome at what he does! If you suffer from back and neck pain and don't like the idea of the normal cracking and popping that's normally associated with Chiropractors, you need to check him out!

I was referred to DSC by my partner who received care here several years ago. I started coming to DSC mid/late 2019, and have never been happier about the care I have received thus far. Dr. Maffit is so wonderful! He is personable, answers all of my questions thoroughly and comprehensively, is super transparent, and really takes his time in getting to know his patients.

He is a wonderful human being! I frequented a Gonstead chiropractor's treatment for about 3 years, but I think that I have found more relief and happiness with my body in the last several months under the meticulous care of Dr. Maffit. He is good with advice on how to eat healthier and can recommend beneficial supplements! i was having headaches and a stiff neck a few months back and had gone to my primary care, they didn't have a clue. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chris Maffit DC! I have been searching for a top chiropractor in St. Louis with extensive education, experience and one who also specializes in treating athletes- and I have found him! I've been to multiple chiropractors and he is by far the very best. I love the unique and holistic approach he takes- using the NUCCA Spinal Correction (which is a much more gentle and non-invasive way of adjusting plus more effective!).

After just a few adjustments I experienced noticeable differences and as a swimmer, my performance greatly improved as well! He really helped me prepare for my open-swim event that I was worried about because I was in pain and clearly out of alignment!

Seems to be in the business of making money and actually discourages use of your own insurance company. spent a lot of money for 1 visit and no adjustments were made.

I have been seeing Dr Maffit for almost 3 years now, he has followed me through both pregnancies and has been a life saver when it comes to my back pains. I like the gentle approach to Chiropractic that he practices. Also, I want to say that he has the best massage therapist I have used ever! Tracy has golden hands and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a massage therapist that actually helps with tensions and pain!

I went to a different chiropractor for years and never got better. I would have relief for anywhere from less than a day to maybe a week, but the pain always returned. I finally realized that the doctor was treating my symptom instead of the problem. My personal trainer recommended Dr. Maffit, and it has been LIFE CHANGING! Delta Spinal Care has saved my life! After starting treatment with Dr. Flory in December, I have stopped taking many of the medications that were needed to control my daily headaches and weekly migraines. Are you tired of being in constant pain? Have you tried just about everything, getting some relief but then it stops working and or your finances are exhausted along with you? That too was me until one day, while researching to find help for my cervical, sciatica pain, and herniated discs, up popped a 3D rotating spine simulator, from Delta Spinal.

There was an invitation to click on the simulator; I did so by selecting the areas that were giving me such awful pain, as I clicked the corresponding symptoms came into view as well as the nerves that were troubling me. What I also saw was that my tilted head was also a symptom. I noticed in my recent photos, that my head was tilted so drastically in comparison to all others.

Then and there I decided to check this out and clicked on contact us. Within minutes I received a phone call from the Dr.Maffit himself! It didn't matter that I had little too no money or the fact that I lived several miles away; he assured me he could help and after his caring conversation I believed it bore further investigation. First visit was talking history, about the symptoms plaguing my life with debilitating pain, and suffering. Then he preformed a high-tech diagnostic test, using a machine similar to an ultra sound, (rolling thermal scan) down my spinal column to measure skin temperatures, to find any and all my nervous system disturbances, these temperatures told him which other vital organs, and glands, that may be affected.

It also indicates the presence and severity of abnormal muscle activity, such as weaknesses or excessive tissue thick ness's. Next he ran a Static EMG scan, on my muscles, looking to locate abnormal tension, or fatigue, and compared these readings to a fixed Normative scan, this shows a correct pattern of symmetrical standards for balance, which is the goal for individuals to obtain.

Last but not least his lab tech took orthogonal X-rays, this shows him the spinal column from the top of the head looking down on its alignment in the body itself. Each visit balance is measured, and the Atlas bone is adjusted using precise measurements, by utilizing math, geometry, and physics, to slide everything back into place with his hand, which feels like an Angels touch.

Never once has there been any pulling, jerking, or yanking, no, no, no, never ever! I call it technology meets chiropractic, Spinal Engineers if you will. The results after 12 visits, is I can walk un-assisted around my home, (I still use a cane outside for assurance I won't have a set back). After 11 long years of inability, I can cross my legs, I can step up to 12 inches, (I used to only be able to make 1/8th of an inch, assisted) absolutely no sciatica pain, relief from painful herniated discs, and 3 subluxations, heartburn is gone, am off one high blood pressure medicine, and my second BP medicine is cut in half, and I no longer feel weighted down by my body; instead I feel light on my feet.

The adjustment he makes to my adrenal glands has reduced my stress. Bladder incontinence, gone and my head is no longer tilted in my pictures unless a photographer tells me to tilt it and please you do not have to tell me to smile because that is one thing that I have plenty of.

I was due to have a cervical fusion last week and the Dr. cancelled a week prior saying I was high risk since I had a heart attack in October and was on blood thinners. My Cardiologist wouldn't take me off the thinners so I had no options. My brother went through the NUCCA process where they align your spine based on all the testing and x rays they completed.
