Doctor Wong and his team are FABULOUS. They listened and got to the root of the problem when others blew me off. Took a year to get help, but was worth the fight. Had Microdiscectomy surgery in May. Slow but steady recovery. Thank You!

I would highly recommend Dr. Jatana for any person that is having problems with their neck and spine. I have been a patient of Dr. Jatana's for many, many years. I think that not only is he a great surgeon, after having two cervical neck fusions, he happens to be one of the most compassionate and kind hearted people that I have ever met. That is hard to find that combination in a doctor these days.

Not only do I think he is a wonderful surgeon and person, I know a friend of my father's that has referred over 35 friends of his to Dr. Jatana. That speaks volume's about the kind of person and surgeon he is. One thing that is very important to me when looking for a Dr., is their demeanor. I would never chose a doctor that seemed like they were in a hurry and didn't listen to ALL of the questions I had.

He has always taken the time to answer and explain my concerns about anything I have asked him about. He is also some one that I trust 100% to tell me exactly what I need to do, and will never push anyone into surgery until he has exhausted all of the possible treatments available for each patient. I only wish that all of my other specialist doctors could be more like Dr. Jatana. To sum up, Dr. Jatana is a one in a million find for anyone who is in need of help with their cervical spine issues.

Wonderful team! Dr. Ghiselli was warm and forth right which was refreshing. I didn't need surgery and provided me with contacts for PT and other options to determine my symptoms. All of his staff was so kind! Thank you so much!

He deserves his reputation as one of the best doctors in his specialty. He is thorough, kind, intelligent, and listens well. He takes the time to carefully look over a patient's history, imaging, and does a proper physical exam. He is backed up by an excellent team, from his organized front office staff to his bright and relatable PA.

I have been getting medical care and procedures for my neck injury and pain for over the last two years. I switched over to the Denver Spine Clinic due to the amazing personal care they provide to each patient and how welcomed they make you feel for your medical appointments. They give complete and easy instructions to set up your surgery and step by step instructions to follow on surgery day and a complete video as to what to expect for your healing and possible pain from the surgery. Dr. Ghiselli is straight forward on how he can help and what to expect from surgery.

My pain level has been decreased from what I would say is an 8 to a 2. I would 100% recommend Dr. Ghiselli and his office for any neck procedures to assist in your healthy recovery.

I have had one consultation so far, and I am blown away. Extremely knowledgeable, comfortable environment, I was in a car accident last year and have been in the hands of a clinic that did not make me feel comfortable, did not have my best interests in mind, and consistently got my hopes up that I was near the end of my pain. Denver Spine Surgeons have completely exceeded my expectations and it's such a relief. Highly highly highly HIGHLY reccomend them.

I found Dr. Jatana online. I conferred with my great primary doctor (Donald Michael Miller, NP at UCHealth), in his own rights, on what his thoughts were on Dr. Sanjay Jatana and his staff, and he gave me a thumbs up. And, my primary doctor is a specialist in back problems, and he would know. At Dr. Jatana's practice, I first saw a PA, I believe her name was Heather Duncan, that works with and also assists Dr. Jatana with his surgeries.

She was extremely knowledgeable, smart as a whip, pleasant, and told me what I already knew from from my primary doctor, my own personal research, but in much greater detail. I then saw Dr. Jatana, and he explained in great detail my problem by reviewing my MRI with me and explaining what it reflects. He drew me a personal picture of my spine to ensure I knew exactly what the MRI was reflecting, and where the problems were on my spine. Dr. Jatana provided me two different surgical solutions to resolve my nerve pain in my back; since, I had already tried all other non-surgical options to remedy my lower back pain.

I informed Dr. Jatana, I already knew which of the two surgeries, I preferred. But, he insisted I do further research by going to some recommended websites to ensure I completely understood my medical condition and all the possible solutions and outcome possibilities, and afterwards contact his medical assistant Toreen Ovind with my final decision of what I desired for medical treatment for my spinal stenosis. I looked forward to getting rid of this constant lower back pain, and I know I'm in great hands!

My entire experience was nothing but excellent from start to finish. Usually when you interact with many people you will find one or two that will no be nice. I can vouch that this is not the case with this group. Not only are they highly qualified but the personal treatment that they gave me and my wife was more than excellent. I would without any hesitation recommend them.their treatment is better than five star.

Dr. Jatana, his assistant Toreen, and the rest of his support staff are absolutely amazing. The team in post op was incredible. I would highly recommend letting them take care of you. I'm confident the quality of my life will return and I only have him to thank.

Dr Jatana and his support staff are all fantastic. I have had several spine issues and have been trusting my spine to Dr Jatana since 2000. Heather Duncan is Dr J's PA, and she is fantastic, very professional and knowledgeable, I have come to learn she is your advocate through the surgery process - did I mention how professional she is, she's great.

I went to Denver Spine Surgeons for a second opinion after going to another doc and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Sanjay Jatana was very knowledgeable about my condition and went above and beyond explaining all my options. Fortunately I don't need surgery at this time but if that changes I'll be coming here. I would recommend Dr. Jatana for anyone with any cervical spine issues, at the very least definitely talk to him about your options.

After various back doctors successfully managed my back pain for 43 years (kudos to them), at 61 years old my spine had become sufficiently unstable that I had no choice but to have surgery. I had heard that Dr. Wong is one of the best spine surgeons, not just in Denver, but in the world, so I was familiar with him. A close friend, who is a well known rheumatologist in Denver, confirmed that Dr. Wong is absolutely top shelf.

In 2016 Dr. Wong performed a fusion and related surgery on my spine. From the initial consult forward, Dr. Wong was the best of the best. He is deliberate, patient, calm and thorough in his approach--just what you want from someone operating on your back. His bedside manner was excellent. His staff also was top shelf in every respect. This was a significant surgery that required a 3 to 4 month rehabilitation (although Dr. Wong had me doing exercises within days), and Dr. Wong was a partner through every step of the recovery.

I could not be more pleased with his work. Within months I was back to hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, golfing, and fishing. I feel fortunate to have had such an accomplished surgeon perform my surgery.

Dr. Aguwa is a miracle worker. I had a herniated disc and was not looking to have surgery but saw Dr. Aguwa for his opinion. He was honest and up front saying that due to what was seen it was most likely surgery would be needed but he didn't push it on me. He gave me time to approach the situation with physical therapy and injections. I did make some progress but not enough to live a fully functional life without limitations like before. Dr. Aguwa was right, surgery it would be.

He is very personable, considerate and caring. He makes sure you fully understand what will happen and things should be after surgery so you should not have any doubts in your mind. He is a miracle worker! I got to go home the same day of surgery. The nerve pain was gone immediately and I didn't even really need any of the pain meds after a few days. *Also I don't have any strange butcher/ Frankenstein scars, which is a plus. I highly recommend Dr. Augwa for all of your spinal needs.

Dr. Ghiselli is egotistical and dismissive. Long story, short version: a ruptured disc occurred when I was out of State. My orthopedic in that State took an MRI and gave me a diagnosis. I had just moved to Colorado with my wife and had to be out of State dealing with properties, so I thought it prudent to see my longtime orthopedic to get his opinion and get all of my records to bring to Colorado.

I wanted to have it also looked at and ultimately dealt with here in Colorado. The out of state doctor recommended physical therapy and possibly injections but admitted that surgery was probably the best ultimate answer. I had a very successful surgery completed approximately 6 years ago by the same Doctor. Dr. Ghiselli disagreed with surgery and suggested physical therapy with injections if needed.

Physical therapy helped very much, but my back was still sore everyday beginning by midday. So, after 3 months, I went back to Dr. Ghiselli. He totally discounted the idea of trying an injection or doing an additional MRI to have a better look at things. He literally said just to take Aleve and if it hurts to walk 2 miles, just walk 1 mile. Wow. Simply wow.

He totally dismissed my input. I'm not interested in pills. I'm interested in a full life. Needless to say, I got my records and have an appointment to get a qualified second opinion. Perhaps Dr. Ghiselli is right, but I seriously doubt it. If the second Doctor concurs with him, I'll be back to rectify this review. But don't hold your breath. There are lots of doctors in the area. At least find one who values the patients input.

Dr. Ghiselli did a L3-4 decompression with microdiskectomy on me on March 9, 2015. The preparation, operation, and post operation care by him and his staff were wonderful. I had been in pain for a year and now have none. Thank you to Denver Spine Surgeons.

First, I have to say that I have been to these offices twice and have seen two different doctors. The first, Dr. Ghiselli, was completely dismissive and refused to even consider treating me. Cut to 8 months later and me still in tremendous pain, I was recommended to go see Dr. Wong. He was extremely knowledgeable, but was extremely unempathetic and honestly had no bedside manner whatsoever.

After telling me that my condition had progressed too far to be treated, and me breaking down in tears in his office, he merely shook my hand and left. Um, gee.thanks! I was floored. The whole office is rude, makes you wait over 45 minutes to an hour before seeing the doctor and truly seems to feel that their patients are a nuisance. Maybe if the first doc here would have helped me, my condition would have still been treatable.

Who knows? All I do know is that these docs may be recommended as surgeons, but as human beings, they fall VERY flat. Not impressed, not worth my time and would NOT suggest if you want to see someone who actually cares that you are in pain and are a person!

Dr. Giselli is greedy and pompous. Don't waste your money. I have Cervical Spinal Stenosis. I was referred to him by a friend who said he was fabulous. Sure, if you have money or insurance; otherwise he will turn you away. I requested my money refunded.didn't happen. Find another specialist.

Dr. Ghiselli did my husband's back surgery last Monday. It was a pretty intense 5 hour surgery. Dr. Ghiselli is very thorough and reassuring. My husband went to the initial visit alone. I went for the pre-op visit so I could get all the details. I'm sure my hubby asked all the same questions that I did, but the doctor never seemed irritated or rushed.

I liked that someone called me at the halfway point during surgery and right after just to let me know the progress of things. Hubby just went for his post-op follow up, and he looks great! The financial advisor is also really kind too. I would recommend this office for sure.

I went with my friend today to her appt, waited for her & overheard the Rudest most Condescending receptionist ever! I hear this is the creme of the creme but be prepared to be treated like you are in their way and are completely stupid. Is it to much to ask to be somewhat pleasant while you're helping out people who are in pain? I mean, come on it IS your job after all.
