Having been a skeptic of Chiropractic for years, I am now a huge believer! I had the opportunity to get to know Dr. Hildebrand first playing volleyball together. For a number of years I would hear teammates talking about how he helped them. A year and a half ago after dealing with significant neck pain for several weeks thinking it would eventually go away, it didn’t and I finally made an appointment. I like to ask questions and understand what a doctor is doing and why. Russ loves to help patients understand what he is doing and what they can expect. I really appreciate his wholistic approach to healing the body and it has been amazing to learn how Chiropractic can be helpful in so many areas beyond just back pain. If you have something chronic, it’s worth reaching out to Dr Hildebrand to see if Chiropractic can help. Dr. Appointments typically take forever, but Hildebrand Chiropractic has a great system and keeps things very efficient for their patients and are amazingly flexible! It’s the one Doctor I look forward to going to!!

I saw Dr. Hildebrand when I was pregnant in 2016 with my son. He was really great and his services helped to ease my pregnancy pain, especially my hip pain.

I started going back to see Dr. Hildebrand in 2019 due to severe headaches and neck pain. He saw me that day and it was so helpful! Dr. Hildebrand offers flexible scheduling which is great because my schedule changes constantly!

I have tried other chiropractors, due to their closer proximity to my work. I did not like either of those chiropractors nearly as much as Dr. Hildebrand. I am fine with a longer drive and more time off work during the day to go see Dr. Hildebrand because I know I am getting the best service possible.

I really enjoy Dr. Hildebrand not only as a medical provider, but also as a person! He is really nice, funny, and informative! His business in general is very warm and welcoming!

My husband has suffered from back pain over the past few years, but it really started to get bad in the last couple months. He wasn't too sure about seeing a chiropractor, but after the family doctor seemed to be of little help, I decided to call Dr. Hildebrand to set up an appointment. My biggest concern was the cost of seeing a chiropractor, since we are on a super tight budget. But Dr. Hildebrand was extremely generous and worked with our budget. My husband has only been treated twice, but his back is already feeling much better. If you are considering seeing a chiropractor, I would definitely set up a consultation with Dr. Hildebrand-- it's free and if you decide it's not for you than there is no obligation, but I am very thankful to Dr. Hildebrand and I would recommend him to anybody!

I really like this Chiropractor. Dr. Hildebrand is very nice, takes Xrays and explains what he thinks is going on and how he will treat you. They always make time for their patients and are very flexible with scheduling. They also have this platform that you lay on that rolls a bar up and down your back, it is so relaxing. He also makes payment plans and works with your insurance. This is a great place to get adjusted!

Customer Testimonials

After overworking my wrist for a few years I naively diagnosed myself with Carpal Tunnel. Then one day I met Dr. Hildebrand and after 5 seconds he knew exactly what was going on. It turns out I had Golfer's Elbow and over the course of 2 weeks I felt 90% better. Unfortunately I was moving out of the state before we could complete our visits. But I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from any type of joint pain. I would certainly still be seeing him if I still lived in State College.

Dr. Hildebrand is great and patient. It is a children friendly place. I had a lot of lower back, neck, and jaw pain. Now, I don't have constant pain anymore. I'm feeling so much better.

Our daughter failed a hearing test during her 4 year old physical. We were told that her ear drum was not moving due to fluid behind the ear. The ear Dr. wanted to see her back in 3 weeks and if she didn't show improvement, they were going to recommend tubes(for the 2nd time). She's already had tubes once. I took her to Dr. Hildebrand and after 2.5 weeks of adjustments - 4 total, her ear drum was working as it should and the fluid was gone.

Thank you!

Dr. Hildebrand is gentle, precise and best of all effective. The office is flexible and accommodating, and I am always welcomed with a smile. Alll my experiences have been great and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

From Our Website

Much of healthcare is focused on covering up pain instead of correcting root causes. Instead of masking the symptoms as pharmaceuticals do, Hildebrand Chiropractic addresses the root of the issue leading to long-term and sustainable results. Our approach reduces or eliminates the need for potentially harmful pharmaceuticals. Save money and live better with Hildebrand Chiropractic! Many people assume Chiropractic adjustments are just for neck and back pain. However, many people fail to consider that the brain needs an open line of communication with the muscles, organs, and other parts of the body.

Regular chiropractic adjustments can prevent strains and sprains from happening by keeping the spine, nerves, muscles and joints working well and flexible. The good news is that we see excellent results using our combination of chiropractic and soft tissue modalities so if you've strained or sprained something, do come in and let us take good care of you. When a patient comes into the clinic with a sprain or strain we usually treat them in 2 phases. The first phase is to reduce the pain, usually with ice, stretching and gentle chiropractic adjustments to the spine.

I see very few problems that frustrate my patients more than arthritis. I see quite a few patients every week in my clinic for whom arthritis is a daily, painful problem. Granted, most of them are getting older in age and see arthritis as an ‘old person's disease' but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with the stiffness, pain and general discomfort that Arthritis causes. One of the main principles of chiropractic is that, if we eliminate interference to the nervous system, the human body will function at peak capacity.

People often resort to Chiropractors to receive treatment for back or neck pain. However, a Chiropractor can effectively treat several other problems such as knee pain and issues in smaller joints like fingers or shoulders. Pain in your shoulder can be caused by joint irritation or tissue irritation. And just like the other types of pain listed here, the patient can relieve Shoulder Pain by receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. Pain in the shoulder can also appear due to other factors such as rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, dislocated shoulder, incorrect positioning of the shoulder, and more.

I see an awful lot of accidents in my chiropractic office and trust me, I do mean awful. Automobile accidents are usually the worst but I've seen others that are just as bad, like people who've fallen off a ladder, slipped and fell on an icy sidewalk and plenty of accidents that were related to sports like football, bicycling and even weight lifting injuries. All of these accidents had one thing in common; they created a force strong enough to move the bones of the spine out of place, something we chiropractors call a subluxation.

Knee pain affects a considerable proportion of the American population each year, and many factors can cause it. It can be a consequence of many seemingly healthy hobbies or lifestyle choices. Just as knee pain can be treated, it can also be prevented in many cases. Americans today are becoming more mindful of the ailments that may affect them further on in their lives, and knee pain is something that, with a little care now, can be avoided in the future. With years of experience treating knee pain and a Doctorate from the National College of Chiropractic, Russ is trained to deal with any type of knee pain you may experience.

The ailments listed on this page represents the most common issues people come to us for - however we treat a very wide range of ailments that you wouldn't expect.

At Hildebrand Chiropractic, we care deeply about your neck health. Most neck pain is pinpointed in the spine and the muscles surrounding the neck. With chiropractic care these issues can be addressed directly to realign your spine and relieve your neck pain. Chiropractic addresses problems in the cervical spine and reduces the muscular tension, allowing the body to recover proper functionality and help to solve the disorders affecting the neck. It's important to bear in mind that chiropractic therapy can progressively intervene on the spinal deviations responsible for the neck pain, while improving your posture and overall spinal health at the same time.
