The body is a self-healing and self-regulating organism. It performs at it's best when the nervous system is working at it's highest potential without any interference from the spine's vertebral misalignments called subluxations. We analyze and correct those spinal subluxations so that the body can heal and function at it's optimal potential.
Huntersville Family Chiropractic opened in 1993 under the care of Dr. Jonathan Colter, a graduate of Palmer College. Dr. Colter owned and operated the business over the course of 20 years and specialized in chiropractic and nutrition. In 2014, Dr. Colter made the decision to retire and begin focusing on the creation of a non-profit for obese children.
Studies show that there is very little risk with the chiropractic adjustment and virtually none with the adjustment instrument. Statistically, it is more of a risk to take 2 Advil a day for 2 weeks than to get adjusted. There are many techniques available to adjust the spine - ranging from the classic dynamic thrust to very light forces or contacts, and can include table or instrument assisted delivery. Modern chiropractors utilize safe and effective procedures suitable to the patient's age, condition and comfort levels.
