Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is a modality that sends very small electrical currents through the affected area of the patients injury. Most patients find EMS to be extremely beneficial and describe the treatment as a tingling or massaging. Benefits of EMS include a decrease in pain, decrease in swelling, increase in blood flow, and accelerated healing process.

I absolutely love Dr Jenkins and Kari! Our entire family sees him. Our boys love them too! My youngest was scared to be adjusted. Hes on the spectrum. Dr Jenkins took his time, was very patient with him. Showed him little things each visit. My youngest loves to hang out on the couch with Kari while we get adjusted. After a couple weeks he finally felt comfortable enough to let Dr Jenkins adjust him. He doesn't complain of pain, but he instantly told the dr he felt better already. We found our new "home" with them for chiropractic care since we moved to Cedar Rapids.

I have been seeing Linzi and Dr. Jenkins for quite some time now. I have never had a better experience than I have with them. They make the environment so welcoming and cozy! The second I walk into the office Linzi always greets me with the best smile and Dr. Jenkins always makes sure to ask if I am having any new pains. I always feel amazing the second I leave their office. I would recommended these two over and over again! If you aren't seeing them you are definitely missing out!

I started going to Dr. Jenkins during the 2nd trimester of my pregnancy and regretted not going sooner! I strongly believe he helped me have a quick and easy labor and delivery. My body has never felt better! Now, I bring my baby to see him for adjustments! He is so careful and gentle. You can tell how much he truly cares for each patient he see. I highly recommend!

I love Jenkins! I've never before had a chiropractor take images before starting the healing process, but it definitely put my mind at ease that I was in the right place. I knew that we were starting with an internal look of my spine so that there would be no guessing or accidental worsening of my current pain. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome - Hypermobility type, so often, the care I need varies from standard procedure.
It was a relief to have Dr. Jenkins tell me on my first visit that they've treated multiple Ehlers-Danlos clients, so I knew he'd know how to approach healing my pain. I've had hip pain since my mid-20s, and when I came to Jenkins, I was presenting with nerve pain, specifically in my sciatic region. Over the past few months, I've been consistently pain-free and able to continue my active lifestyle with occasional maintenance visits to make sure I don't slip out of alignment (part of Ehlers-Danlos). Highly recommend! It's always a quick in & out adjustment so I don't lose an entire hour of my work day. They're the best!

While visiting family I found myself with a stiff neck and migraine. I called Jenkins chiropractic. They asked me to come right in. I filled out paperwork and got a exam in under 20 mins. I appreciate how efficient they are. The staff was friendly and Dr. Jenkins gave me fast relief for my migraine. If you are interested in same day appointments start here. He was also more reasonable than my normal small town chiropractor. I highly recommended him

These guys are great! I was injured in a car accident and travel quite a bit for work. Since the accident I have been to 3 different chiropractors and Jenkins takes the cake for best chiropractor I've experienced. Friendly staff, good (and fast) treatment, and easy to work with when it comes to insurance. Thanks guys, you rock!

I have been seeing Dr. Jenkins for over a year and can confidently say he is one of the best chiropractors I have seen. He is extremely flexible with scheduling, making it easy for me to fit adjustments into my busy schedule. Jenkins Chiropractic is amazing! Dr. Jenkins really takes the time to access individual needs and the best treatment suitable to those needs. All staff is super friendly and their scheduling is really flexible which it very convenient for somone who works a 7-5 job every day. I can honestly say that my time and money were well spent there as I can tell a significant difference from when I first went in to my last treatment appointment. I highly recommended them!
