Dr.Anthony Saladino has been practicing chiropractic for 26 years. After graduating from National College of Chiropractic in Chicago he opened a practice in Park Slope ,Brooklyn. He has maintained practices in Manhattan, Merrick, Brooklyn and Middle island over the years. He studied Chiropractic Neurology at the prestigious Carrick Institute from 1991-1992.

He brings extensive knowledge of sports injuries, nutrition, exercise physiology and automobile accident injuries to his practice. He has lectured at civic communities, church groups, schools, and senior citizen groups on a wide range of topics including arthritis, osteoporosis, prevention of back injury, weight loss and nutritional support for athletes.

Chiropractic Manipulation

Chiropractic Manipulation is used to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs and headaches. The purpose is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force to joints that have become hypomobile – or restricted in their movement – as a result of a tissue injury.


Custom Rehab Programs

Treatment designed to get people out of pain for good. We are not just roller tables and hot packs. We can design a custom rehab program to correct faulty movement patterns and increase stability. A strong, flexible, properly functioning body is the best way to prevent re-injury. Whether they are McKenzie exercises, dynamic lumbar stabilization, proprioception exercises or Williams flexion exercise depends on your individual condition and response to treatment. Continuing an exercise program after an episode of spinal pain is the best thing you can do to prevent future episodes of pain


Physiotherapy Modalities

Physiotherapy (also called “E-Stim”) is used for relaxation of muscle spasms, prevention of disuse atrophy (muscle wasting) , increase of local blood circulation, muscle rehabilitation and re-education, maintaining and increasing range of motion, management of chronic pain, and post-traumatic acute pain and wound healing. Ultrasound therapy is used decrease inflammation and promote tissue healing.
