From Our Website
Doctors Brian and Cindy Opp have been delivering quality chiropractic care to the St. Francis community since 2003. At Opp Family Chiropractic, we believe that health is one of our most valuable possessions, and we are committed to helping our patients achieve a healthier, fuller life through compassionate and comprehensive chiropractic care. Brian and Cindy met at chiropractic school and have been married for 15 wonderful years. We have been blessed with two beautiful girls who continue to amaze us each and every day.
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, it's important that our relationship can go the distance. We've found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home. The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you'll enjoy. It's as simple as that. So, get to know us here. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you!
Massage therapy is an effective and accessible way to help those with injuries, illness or pain improve their movement and manage their pain. At Opp Family Chiropractic, we offer a variety of massage therapy techniques and services, tailoring the specific method to the needs and goals of the individual patient. We focus on returning patients to a healthy state and educating them on how to maintain optimal health.
At Opp Family Chiropractic, we use a number of highly-effective adjusting techniques to help improve spinal motion and reduce pressure and stress on the nervous system. Our approach is based on our years of experience, combined with the individual needs of each of our patients. Misalignment of the spine, or subluxation, occurs when an abnormal position or movement of the vertebrae disturbs communication within the brain and spinal cord, causing a disturbance in the body. This leads to a lowered resistance to diseases, as well as pain, imbalances, and fatigue.
In order to move well, you need to know how to move correctly. We use a method of posture correction, mobilization of the tissues, stretching, and corrective exercises to help balance out your treatment. We find that adding these techniques to our patients' treatment plan helps them function through life better. Our office uses functional screens to learn the ways in which a patient can and can't move. Can they squat with good form? Can they do a push-up, hold a plank, do a bridge exercise, and bend at the hips in a healthy way?
