Accordingly, he and his wife opened Pure Health & Wellness in November of 2006. Services
Spinal decompression therapy is a method that gently stretches the spine to change its force and position. These changes take pressure off of the spinal discs, which act as cushions between the bones in your spine. I immediately fell in love with this place when I had my first visit. The doctor is very intuitive and good at what he does. He's kind and intuitive and thorough. Then my next appt had to be two weeks out due to him being overbooked. I am a hospice nurse and while I can plan my day and feel certain I can be to my own personal appt I have no control over what happens with my patients who can have sudden declines and need me there for extended time periods.
Yesterday was such a day. I walked in to see a pt at 4:45 never dreaming I'd need to be there for several hours but due to covid-19 restrictions and less frequent visits and such I walked in to a pt in crisis and had to spend several hours resolving. As I was leaving to come home exhausted at 6:45 I received a phone call from pure health and I immediately realized what had happened.
I was told right off that they would be charging me $25 for missing my appt. I was treated rudely despite my explanation. This morning I decided I would try again and discuss my situation as the doctor was wonderful and the thought of going back through the process of finding someone and paying the new pt fee again just nooooo! I spoke to Paula and explained what happened to her.
She again reiterated to me that they can't have me doing this all the time and they would not charge me this time but would in the future. I stated that I would hope they would be more understanding and supportive of other healthcare workers especially during this time of so much uncertainty. Paula again said that the doctor is difficult to get in to and therefore they couldn't have me doing this all the time. Let's keep in mind this would have only been my second appt. I'd also like to say that if you have over booked yourself to the point that your patients have difficulty getting in and this is such a hard line for you this is a problem you've created for yourself.
Being rude to your brand new patients and treating them this way is not ok but add the factor that I'm a frontline essential healthcare provider it becomes unconscionable! You've lost your way and your heart! I'd like to think this doctor wouldn't be this way but unfortunately I can't speak to him directly about the issue as his front office guard has it locked down. It's terribly unfortunate, frustrating and simply wrong.

Pure Health deserves five stars and then some. I can't rate Dr. Maire highly enough. Before finding him, I saw other chiropractors in the SA area, and none were anywhere near as good. Dr. Maire's seen me through two car accidents in which I was injured (no, I'm not a bad driver--I wasn't at fault either time), and I also go regularly for treatment for a chronic condition.
My condition's unfortunately incurable, but thanks to Dr. Maire, I'm able to gain much-needed relief. He's always friendly and personable, and so knowledgable I'm never left with unanswered questions. I've had acupuncture and other treatments in addition to chiropractic adjustment, and it's all been pleasant and beneficial. Never had anything but positive experiences at Pure Health.
The staff is great, the massage therapists Amy and Michelle are both great. My child's also a patient at Pure Health, and loves it there as well. Call Pure Health if you need chiropractic treatment or any service they provide. You won't find a better chiropractic clinic in the SA area.

I suffered from Migraine headaches for years. No amount or type of medication seemed to help and they progressively got worse.until. I decided to visit Dr. Maire. He and his staff are great people and awesome service! He offers a combination of techniques to help with healing and feeling good naturally. Dr. Maire, listens to his patient's needs and checks to make sure the adjustment was accurate.
He goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied when you are done with the adjustment. If you have time I would definitely recommend seeing Amy the massage therapist! She has magic hands, and spectacular as well! ~I now have the headaches under control with their services and minimal medication.
