RJ has helped me with two separate back injuries, one of which was pretty severe. I couldn't put a price on fixing these issues, which were causing me constant discomfort. After a handful of visits, my pain is completely gone and I'm back to my normal activities, but more importantly I've learned a ton from RJ about how to prevent future injuries, treat minor issues I encounter and fix a lot of poor habits I've built over the years.

REACH is a great practice for anyone who is active and wants to take an active role in their own recovery and long-term well being. The visits are two-way, conversational and RJ takes the time to learn about you and your situation. It's not some chiro shop that just churns people out every 15 min without giving you any knowledge or plan to feel good without regular chiro care.

If you just want somebody to align your back and ship you out in 15 min, you're probably better off somewhere else. If you want to learn about how to prevent future injury, rehab in a safe and controlled way and work with a Dr. who cares and spends a lot of time with you - go to REACH.

Having an athletic and military background (as a paratrooper) I felt like my issues were a bit more unique than the every day person. After seeing a few chiropractors/providers many years ago, I did not feel that they had a similar mindset when it came to living a healthy and active lifestyle. Many of them told me that I needed to abandon the hobbies I loved or told me I needed stop doing what my job in the military required of me. All they did was crack some joints and send me on my way, they didn't address the problem and help me find a solution to fixing it, while also maintaining the lifestyle I wanted.

Dr Burr was different, I immediately got the sense that he had a similar mindset, he wanted to help me maintain my active lifestyle while addressing the problem at its origin, instead of just giving temporary relief. Dr. Burr was recommended by a co-worker that had not been treated by him but was highly recommended by acquaintances at his gym. With some apprehension about the “gym recommendation” (I’m not a performance athlete) I made an appointment to see if he could help me with my low back pain. He showed me simple movements to do on my own to eliminate the pain and symptoms. As the treatment progressed he did a few adjustments and worked with me to modify how I bend, lift and breath. He was able to help me eliminate my pain and put me on a path for self-care. I highly recommend Dr. Burr!

I often have difficulty finding other professionals outside of my scope of practice that I can relate to and connect with. The main reason is because I expect them to have a strong desire to help their patients and demonstrate that by continuously pursuing excellence with their knowledge and ability to apply said knowledge AND possessing the ability to effectively connect with their patients and get a thorough understanding of the needs, limitations, and abilities.

It's tough to find both. Dr. Burr excels in both of these areas and I'm honored to call him a trusted colleague and friend.

If you're looking for a chiro who is well-rounded with their knowledge of the human body and movement and how to apply effective interventions that aren't just limited to spinal manipulations AND will go the extra mile to make sure that you're getting the most out of your treatments, then I highly recommend going into REACH and visiting Dr Burr.

As a fitness professional I greatly respect Dr. Burr's approach. Reach seeks to educate and inform their clients which is why we've referred so many of our clients to them. Highly recommend if you're interested in taking an active role in your rehab/comeback.

Dr. RJ Burr is very knowledgeable and has a different approach when it comes to chiropractic where he looks at movement and body mechanics. He gave me a few specific exercises to do at home on my own to help correct my issue on my own. If traditional chiropractic or physical therapy has not worked for you I would highly recommend Reach!

I have had a great experience at Reach resolving a minor injury and learning long-term techniques to improve my mobility. Although it can take a few visits to see change, I have been happy with the emphasis on long-term progress and feel like this has been a missing piece in my recovery and growth as an athlete.

Fantastic!! If I could give more then 5 stars I would. From the moment I met RJ I knew that it was going to be a good thing for me to return to Reach. He sits down with you and really try's to pick apart your injury. From there he gives you exercises and works with you through each step of the way to get you back in business. My number one take away is the obvious concern RJ has for you and your well being. To him you are not just business, you are a person. A person he is willing to bend over backwards to help. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Burr was originally recommended to me through friends/colleagues and I am glad they did! RJ is awesome! I joke with him that as I age, I feel like I am falling apart - but he's been able to help me with my shoulder, knees and back! He also has helped my middle school daughter. What I like is that it's not a quick fix - he gives you the exercises to help change what you currently do to avoid future issues.

I was so happy to find Dr. Burr and his team at REACH Rehab + Chiropractic Performance Center. As the owner of a local fitness facility it was refreshing to find a chiropractor who uses science based evidence to diagnose and treat injuries. The team at REACH treat the root cause of the injury rather than simply treating the symptoms. Dr. Burr is one of the most knowledgeable people I've met when it comes to how the body moves. I came into his office with lower back problems and he not only helped relieve the pain, he also taught me different techniques to stay out of pain. At home exercises, breathing techniques, ect. were a part of my treatment plan.I know it says that he is a Chiropractor, but I like to call him a movement specialist. REACH Rehab is definitely the place to go!
