River Chiropractic & Wellness Center was established in 2006 by Dr. Laura Thornton. The West Shore was chosen to be close to family, the Lake Erie amenities and because it's a great place to bring up her two kids Ava (born in 2002) and Evan (born in 2004). Our philosophy at River Chiropractic & Wellness Center is all about meeting patients where they are.
D. developed a method of examining the meridian system of the body through electronic measurements which altered the way acupuncture would be practiced throughout Japan, Europe, Australia and North America. Referred to as "Ryodoraku" by Nakatani, its use would become international within 25 years of discovery.

I had a bad car accident in 1989 that gave me neck and shoulder issues for years. I had been to numerous chiropractors with little to no improvement in the discomfort I would experience. I met Dr. Laura in a women's networking event, heard how she works with her clients and I decided to give her a try. It was such a wonderful and different experience!
No manual neck cracking was a game changer for me! I drive regularly from Chagrin Falls because she is the only chiropractor I have ever had positive results with. It was a life changer for me, I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I've been seeing Dr. Laura regularly for the last 1.5 years. Before I was referred to her, I had constant neck and hip pain. I had gone to other professionals but nothing was working. Dr. Laura has helped me feel comfortable and pain free again. I love that she offers and suggests her other services depending on the pain/issue. Dry needling and rock tape have helped when I have had pain from working out. I cannot recommend her enough!
