Our mission at Merritt Chiropractic and Wellness is simply to serve you. We provide excellent chiropractic care to help our patients reach and exceed their health goals. We assess the patient as a whole. We want to address the main concern, but also lead you into a lifestyle of being pain free. We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.
We specialize in correcting your body's misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet. A chiropractic adjustment can make you feel so much better.
Graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Park University in Kansas City where he graduated with honors. Dr. Merritt attended Central Ohio School of Massage and has been licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board for the past 15 years.
I had pain between my shoulder blades and felt stiff. I also had pain in my feet. Dr. Merritt showed me where my spine was out of alignment. Dr. Merritt helped me tremendously. Dr. Merritt really cares about his patients. Dr. Merritt has also helped me with other problems besides my back. Dr Merritt is a great Doctor and a great friend to me.

Dr. Merritt is amazing. I have been going to see him for nine years. He has helped me with not only my back issues but also my health in general. I was having high blood pressure problems at 38 years old was very frustrated to the point of depression and fear of having a heart attack which would mean leaving my three girls behind. Dr. Merritt took the time to help me find the cause of my High BP gave me some supplements, which helped, not just throw pills at me like the usual doctors end up doing.
Now I feel great! He treats my whole family and they all love him. He really cares about his patients and treats them like family. To top it off Michelle at the front desk is so helpful and friendly. She always has a beautiful smile on her face when you walk in the door. Thank you Dr. Merritt and Michelle for an amazing nine years! I don't know where I would be if I didn't find you. Never leave please unless you relocate to grove city where I live .

Dr. Merritt and Michelle are a seamless unit, working hard every visit to get you feeling your best self. Dr. Merritt uses a variety of tools and techniques, while taking quantitative (as well as qualitative) measures along the way to ensure progress. It's easy to schedule and get in, even last minute - Michelle does her very best to work with your schedule and needs.
You do sometimes end up waiting a while past your appointment time, but that's pretty unavoidable at any doctor's office! They are also very kind about me needing to bring my toddler with me sometimes, and even give her snacks and things to do! I am very grateful for Dr. Merritt!

1. When you arrive-Michelle is helpful, caring and energetic. She knows your name and remembers anything you have ever talked to her about and checks in with important aspects of you life. She keeps the office moving all the while being hospitable Thank you Michelle! 2. Treatment-Dr. Merritt's knowledge and skill is unmeasurable. He has set up a system where the whole picture of your needs are examined and added into the treatment possibilities.
He has many routes to get your health needs addressed and helps you choose what and when they will happen and always having you be part of the decision making. The depth of his knowledge is incredible! He takes all the time needed to make sure you get the best care. 3. Emotional support-if you are requesting services, you are likely suffering. Michelle and Dr. Merritt provide a safe, secure environment for healing to happen.
They have another team member that takes this to another level-Max. The emotional support four legged friend that unassumably tracks the energy in the office and shows up where needed. After years of medicine and physical therapy with no relief, my trainer recommended Dr. Merritt. From a nervous skeptic with no hope for relief, Dr. Merritt took the time to listen to understand what was occurring. He has helped me not only help find pain relief from 3 pinched nerves, he helped me get off all my medications as well lose weight again all in 3 months. Michelle immediately makes you feel welcome and is wonderful at answering questions to understand the process. Max is the topping on the cake helping you to forget your worries for a moment. Dr. Merritt is excellent at what he does. Professional, excellent bedside manner, and he has drastically minimized my pain. He is wonderful at educating you and supporting you to take steps out of the office to improve your issues. He is always going to conferences to learn and grow and stays on the cutting edge of his industry. He came highly recommended from a couple of friends and I haven't been disappointed. I have been visiting chiropractors for almost 20 years and Dr. Merritt is the one that has lead me to living as pain free as I can. I first started seeing Dr. Merritt for chronic headaches and after treatment I continue to see him for regular adjustments. I actually visited Dr. Merritt almost weekly during my pregnancy and his treatment helped tremendously! My husband and children also see Dr. Merritt because we believe in him and know he cares about us.

Dr. Merritt is great! He took thr time to understand what kind of pain I was in and came up with a plan to get me back to 100%! I have been struggling for a while now and have seen a number of doctors for my back issues. Dr. Merritt always makes sure I am making progress and wants me to be happy with that progress! His office manager Michelle is also always so pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend coming in for a visit to see what they can do for you!

Have been going to Dr Merritt for a few years now, and I've been to many chiropractors who generally do the same adjustment each time you're there. Dr Merritt treats you where you are that day so each treatment is somewhat different My wife and I have recommended many people to Dr Merritt and they are all happy and still going

Dr. Merritt really cares about his patients. He wants them to be well and happy. He is not your run of the mill doctor. He actually really wants the best for everyone who walks through his doors. I went to my regular doctor saying I had pain in my gallbladder, I was barely listened to. I went to Dr. Rod and he immediately knew what I needed to do to feel better.
He is the real deal. He is very good with his pricing too for nutritional support. He goes above and beyond expectations. Please get yourself over to see him if you have any pain in your back or want nutritional testing. Do yourself that favor!
