I had my first visit with this office on Monday May 3rd, 2021 and I am certain that I will be a life long patient. My first contact was a phone call pleading for an immediate appointment due to back pain. April was extremely friendly and offered me a same day appointment. ALL of the staff are amazing and Dr. Eckman is amazing. I spent almost 15 years working in healthcare and I have interacted with many physicians during that time.

As a patient, I have had my fair share of bad experiences and misdiagnosed symptoms. I'm sure we all know that healthcare is a broken system. Dr. Eckman is a breath of fresh air and hope that good healthcare still exists. He has an excellent bedside manner, listens, understands, and treats approrpiately. Dr. Eckman truly impressed me on both my first and second visit! Dr. Eckman is an asset to our community and the field of healthcare. I highly recommend him and this office without any hesitation.

I've been a patient of Dr. Eckman for many years and have always had a pleasant experience during my visits. His office is all-encompassing in regards to Chiropractic Care. They offer massage therapy, spinal decompression and different forms of electro-stimuli muscle therapy. Dr. Eckman is always eager to answer any questions and help educate patients on their specific problem.

Dr. Ryan is very personable, professional and so thorough with educating patients like myself with chiropractic techniques. He was the first chiropractor I ever had and I drive about 25 miles one way because the overall experience with PatientCare is just like how it should be.

Wonderful experience. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer the new patient paperwork online, so you can fill it out ahead of time and are not bombarded by paperwork when you walk in. My massage was great, she worked out the knots, loosened tight muscles, and I left feeling refreshed. I'm glad I found this hidden gem!

As someone who has suffered with a bad back from when I was working on the farm years ago in the great state of Maine, when you find a good chiropractor and you get results ,you will not settle for less... When we moved to Michigan I did something stupid and my back was wasted til i went home to Maine on vacation and my old chiropractor in Maine set it and i was fine for months...

I started looking for a chiropractor in Michigan and went to about 5 before I found Ron... I got results on the first visit and knew I had found the right guy ... When Ron decided to go on an extended hiatus I started using his brother Kent and he also has kept me upright and feeling fine... Believe me ,after having been to so many that did nothing for me except sell me more visits , save your money and get to know Ron and his staff, and you will not go anywhere else...

The first time I was in the office was after I hurt my back sailing. Dr. Yanez came in on an off day to make sure I was getting better. Great office.

After seeing multiple orthopedic doctors, Dr. Yanez was the only one able to fix my problem. He got me in right away, took the time to listen to my complex issue, and pinpointed a solution right away.

Going to see Dr. Ryan was highly recommended by one of my students as I had been complaining about having major neck and upper back/shoulder pain. It took me a little while to get in but once I did I felt extremely comfortable and well cared for. You can tell that Dr. Ryan has a very deep understanding of the biomechanical way that your body is supposed to work and what issues you have but unlike a lot of doctors I have delt with in the past, he takes the time to explain your specific issue in a way that you can understand and answers any and all questions that may arise.

His approach to a treatment is also something I have never experienced with other chiropractors. He is very direct about fixing the problem(s) but also very gentle. He wants to actually fix you instead of just an “Okay well I will see you next week.” On top of coming into the office for adjustments, I was also given stretches to do to help alleviate my pain in the future and also speed up the recovery process as I was coming in regularly. Bottom line, I would (and have) highly suggest coming to Semlow Chiropractic to see Dr. Ryan.
