Manipulation under anesthesia (MUA-FRP) is a non-invasive procedure that has been utilized for over 70 years. It is increasingly offered for acute and chronic unresolved conditions such as: neck pain, back pain, joint pain, muscle spasm, shortened muscles, fibrous adhesions, and long term pain syndromes. The procedure consists of the patient being sedated with anesthesia (pre-op Versed or Fentanyl) and during the MUA may include the anesthesiologist's choice of Propofol (Diprivan), Midazolam (Versed), Sufentanyl, and, occasionally, Succinylcholine, through a secured IV.

Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.
Upon entering our office, our patient care representative will welcome you. You will have been emailed the forms, please fill them out ahead of time and bring them with you. If you were unable to fill them out ahead, please arrive 1/2 hour early and our front desk personnel will be provided forms to complete (These can be found under the form tab above- please be detailed, tell use the how and when your discomfort started.). This paperwork provides us with a brief history and information regarding you and your condition.
Sometimes new radiographs must be taken. This is done on a case by case basis. Radiographs can be helpful when looking for fractures or other pathology. Some insurance companies require that imaging is performed before any treatment begins, others will only cover radiology procedures performed in specific imaging centers.
