Services
Yellowstone Recovery has been guiding people toward a sober future for two decades. Since 1997, over 5,000 men and women have found peace, solace, and recovery at our drug and alcohol rehab centers in Southern California. Our non-profit status allows us to offer affordable yet comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment to all of our clients.
When you need professional help to recover from a drug or alcohol addiction, one of the last things you want is to struggle with paying for treatment. While funds may not be a concern for some, many addicted individuals and their families find themselves feeling like paying for rehab is an almost impossible task.
To be certain, your health and the health of your loved ones are worth more than the money. Nevertheless, effective treatment for drug or alcohol addiction is a significant investment, the size of which is one of the foremost concerns for clients and their families. Most rehab facilities will do their best to consider their clients' financial needs and develop a feasible payment plan.
As a new resident or family member of a client, you likely have questions about what happens in rehab on a daily basis. Clients living on-site prepare and eat family style meals in their residence. Examples of common menu items include chicken sandwiches, oatmeal, pulled pork, and spaghetti; clients with dietary restrictions will be provided with alternatives as needed.

If I could give zero I would! Do not come to this "treatment center" or send anyone you love here. Most of the reviews below are people who went through the program and are now either employed by Honey or just still living on the rehab grounds. Dig deep and you find the real reviews. This is because Yellowstone is a cult environment, abuse is rampant, "counselors" fraternizing with patients, relapses (which cost money btw), disorganization, and an extreme lack of professionalism.

I attended this program years ago and left half way through after I could not take the abuse anymore. I was able to enter a new program nearby and it was an entirely different experience. I am so grateful I made this decision. My life is so incredible in sobriety but Yellowstone had no part in it. I am still in counseling today with real licensed counselors unlike the ones at Yellowstone and healing from the PTSD of this despicable place.

Dont be fooled by the good fake reviews! Pay attention to the bad ones because they are the real truth! They will take away your car and phone for at least 90 days. They stole my phone because they couldn't charge my insurance 25k a month! They have drug addicts giving out medications to clients instead of RN's. When the clients cannot take it anymore and leave, they come back for their belongings and Yellowstone wont give them back!

I have my own business and never felt safe there because the owner " honey " is a crook, and they get allot of clients straight out of the state prison system! Run away from this place before it's too late!

Yellowstone is a forever home to me. The amount of help this treatment center gives to their clients is astonishing. I recently went through Yellowstone again and I was taught a new way of live, a living solution as long as I work my program to the best of my ability, and a live beyond my dreams. Thank you Yellowstone and thank you Honey.

I entered Yellowstone on August 10th 2014 which is still my sobriety date to this day. Yellowstone showed me the tools I needed to live my life and they weren't afraid to tell me the truth. Honey allowed me to stay and they helped me get a job and restart my life. I will forever be grateful for the life I was able to build due to Yellowstone showing me how to show up and what it means to be a women in recovery.

It allowed me to move home to New Jersey after 7 years of being gone. Every time I go back to California I visit bc of the gratitude I have for the place that gave me a chance when I had none left.

Yellowstone is a great place but in the same instance it is a horrible place. Why do I say that? I walked into the doors of Yellowstone twice. The first time completely unwilling, so I walked out. The second time, wanting to get sober, and I stayed. The second time, although better than the first, was still not peaches and lollipops. No offense, it's not supposed to be.

The women there told me truths about myself, most of them were true and they were hard to hear. I was not coddled and told it was going to be alright. Yellowstone changed my life in ways I never thought possible. My life has continued to get better each day, as I incorporate the skills, values, and morals learned here and in AA. Since that second "first" day walking through their door February 18th, 2010, I've have not found the want or need to use drugs. If you want to get Sober and have a different life then Yellowstone can help you accomplish that. I may not be fun, easy, or even comfortable but it'll be worth it.

Yellowstone is great place to go to learn tools for long term sobriety. It wasn't a place to go hide from my problems. They taught me to learn how to deal with myself and start trying new ways to deal with life. Every staff member there has been through the same program. They taught us how to use a daily routine to our benefit, how to be a decent friend and family member, a good worker and they showed me how to get a sponsor and take direction. Which is exactly what I needed. I went to Yellowstone 4 years ago and am still sober because of the tools they taught me and because it's a place I can still go give back.

I have known Honey Thames and a lot of her staff for years. They are dedicated and committed to helping people get sober, even when they don't want it! Yellowstone Recovery is all inclusive and leaves no one out! They provide a true foundation for recovery as outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, to enable those who are killing themselves with drugs an alcohol, a chance at a better way to live. I have worked in behavioral healthcare for almost 20 years now in this local Orange County recovery community. During my career, I have utilized and referred many patients to Yellowstone Recovery that have yielded excellent results. If you have a loved one that suffers from addiction, and other stage of life issues, please rely on Yellowstone Recovery to help your family recover from drug and alcohol addiction. Yellowstone has been helping families for over 20 years, and they specialize in getting people sober, keeping them sober, and getting individuals reintegrated back into this local community working again.

Yellowstone will always be my home, it is where I can go and instantly feel at home. This is where I build my foundation when I got sober 15 years ago. A meeting for the alumni was a great idea, it gave us a chance to share our experience, strength, and hope.

Yellowstone Recovery has literally saved my life! before my entry to this program, I had NO idea how to live life sober. This program has taught me how to live life on life's terms, and has shown me the tools to use in sobriety and in my everyday life. The staff provided me a safe place to recovery, and presented a new way of thinking which applied to a new way of life.

My family attended the family group sessions which provided them strength in their support of my recovery and we are now closer than ever before. As a result of my participation in the treatment and aftercare at Yellowstone, I have a fellowship of sober friends, a strong foundation in sobriety and a new and better way of life.

Dear Honey, God bless you and god bless Yellowstone!! My husband and I saw our daughter, Emma, yesterday for the first time in 30 days. What we witnessed was nothing short of a miracle! We know that some days are going to be good and some bad for her but, her attitude, her glow, her excitement for her future was back! We spent almost the full 3 hours with her and we had such a wonderful time.

She talked about the twelve steps with us, read some of her highlighted sections from the book, and talked about how good it felt to be herself again. I have to say the defining moment came when she said, even if they said I could go home today, I wouldn't. I just couldn't believe my ears! Thank you for what you do and all the hard work you put into it. You are truly a special person and we are so grateful for you and Yellowstone.
