Services
Posture Alignment Therapy
Our posture alignment therapy uses low-impact corrective exercises to restore functional body alignment. Through detailed posture and gait analysis, we identify muscular imbalances causing chronic pain. Personalized exercise sequences target specific dysfunctions to provide lasting pain relief and improved mobility for both virtual and in-person clients.
Corrective Exercise
Customized corrective exercise programs address individual postural compensations and movement patterns. We develop progressive exercise sequences that activate underused muscles while retraining neural pathways. This approach resolves chronic pain by correcting biomechanical imbalances rather than just treating symptoms through documented, measurable progress.
Virtual Therapy
Our virtual therapy option provides remote access to posture analysis and corrective exercise instruction. Using specialized software, we analyze posture through client-submitted photos and create personalized exercise menus. Virtual sessions maintain the same level of personalized care and progress tracking as in-person visits with detailed video demonstrations.
In-person Therapy
In-person therapy offers direct hands-on assessment and real-time exercise instruction in Portland. Face-to-face sessions allow for immediate feedback on form and technique during posture correction exercises. Local clients benefit from comprehensive functional testing and gait analysis in our dedicated therapy space with personalized progress documentation.
Free Posture Assessment
The complimentary posture assessment identifies root causes of chronic pain through medical history review and postural analysis. We evaluate static posture, movement patterns, and functional limitations to create targeted treatment plans. This initial evaluation explains how postural imbalances cause pain and outlines the corrective exercise path to lasting relief.

For the last 3 months I have been working with Sean at Portland Posture Clinic. I reached out to get help with my shoulder and back pain, as a result of being a dental hygienist. I am so happy with the results I have gotten so far. The pain in my shoulder and back are gone and my range of motion is dramatically improved. Results I didn't expect are whole body increase in flexibility and better balance. I recommend Sean confidently to help get you out of pain.

I've been working with Sean for the last 2 months and the progress we've made has been, in short, life-changing. I had been dealing with pain and discomfort for many years and never found anything beyond short-term relief. Working weekly with Sean has been eye-opening in terms of understanding how a body should work and function and the exercises that he's suggested have dramatically relieved my pain. I look forward to continuing to work with Sean and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who has been struggling to find a solution to their chronic pains.

I had serious back pain where I couldn't even get out of bed. Went to Kaiser and was told it was arthritis and facet syndrome from wear and tear from 20+ years snowboarding. Was told to take Advil. Got a second opinion from Sean and talked through my day-to-day and gave me gave me easy to follow tips to help get me back into shape. Two weeks later today I've been pain free and back on the board doing spins, jogging, gardening, etc. I highly recommend!

"Being treated by Sean was life changing. I waited a long time in pain before finding a specialist on posture like Sean. I was unsure if I was a candidate or how the treatment could help. I am challenged by severe scoliosis and Parkinson. I had back surgery and have 8 screws in my lower back. I tried massages, acupuncture, traction, core strength building, facet injections, weight loss and more. The scoliosis was causing me to bend forward and left. Sean has been working with me to activate muscles that have atrophied due to not being used. (I have been using the wrong muscles) By activating those muscles through special stretching and strength building techniques I have been able to experience significant gain in correcting my posture.
We have been documenting the progress with photos and it is quite impressive. I should have just come here to begin with. I look forward to continued improvement as we progress through additional exercises to build on what we have already accomplished. I recommend Sean as a very knowledgeable and competent trainer." I had a wonderful experience working with Sean O'Neill at the Portland Posture Clinic. I went in seeking a better understanding of my posture, and how it is impacting my back pain, (specifically my rhomboids). Sean was timely, professional, full of knowledge, and present with my pain. Sean evaluated my posture, and efficiently led me through exercises I had never considered before. I felt seen and understood. I will continue to work with Sean for maintenance. Highly recommend!
