Business Details
We have been serving the Libertyville community since 1979, providing over four decades of integrated alternative care. Our founder, Dr. Dan Young, holds dual doctorates in Naprapathy and Chiropractic, plus board certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics and advanced training in acupuncture and clinical nutrition. We have performed thousands of P.I.N.S. procedures for ten years. Our team includes a nurse, certified trainer, and licensed esthetician. We combine manipulation, physiotherapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and exercise therapy into a holistic model tailored to each patient's unique needs. We use this comprehensive approach to address the root causes of pain and dysfunction rather than merely suppressing symptoms. We prioritize patient education, empowering individuals to participate actively in their healing process for lasting improvement.
Our professional standards are reflected in ongoing postgraduate study, membership in the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists and the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and adherence to evidence-based practices. We are committed to achieving lasting improvement through individualized treatment plans that aim for resolution of the condition. We focus on resolution rather than ongoing maintenance to strive for prompt, complete relief that enhances quality of life. Our dedication to excellence, interdisciplinary expertise, and patient-centered care has earned the trust of the Libertyville community for over forty years.

Services
P.I.N.S.
P.I.N.S. is an orthopedic acupuncture method that uses mild electrical currents via fine needles to promote tissue healing. It targets chronic musculoskeletal pain, joint dysfunction, and orthopedic conditions unresponsive to standard therapies. Patients often report decreased inflammation, enhanced range of motion, and sustained pain relief following treatment series.
Manipulation
Spinal and joint manipulation involves precise, hands-on adjustments to restore proper alignment and improve nervous system function. This service is suited for individuals experiencing back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or restricted movement due to misalignment. Clients benefit from reduced pain, increased flexibility, and improved posture, facilitating natural healing and long-term functional gains.
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy program combines therapeutic exercises, stretching, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to rehabilitate injured tissues. It targets patients recovering from strains, sprains, post-surgical stiffness, or chronic pain conditions affecting muscles and joints. Participants gain improved strength, enhanced range of motion, and decreased discomfort, supporting a faster return to daily activities.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture at our clinic involves inserting fine needles at specific points to modulate pain signals and stimulate endogenous healing mechanisms. Practitioners trained in both Chinese and American styles treat conditions such as migraines, arthritis, neuropathy, and stress-related tension. Clients often experience reduced pain intensity, improved sleep quality, and enhanced overall well-being after a course of sessions.
Clinical Nutrition
Clinical nutrition services provide personalized dietary assessments and evidence-based recommendations to support healing and optimal metabolic function. This service benefits patients managing inflammation, weight concerns, diabetes, or nutritional deficiencies that impact musculoskeletal health. Clients receive tailored meal plans, supplement guidance, and ongoing monitoring, leading to improved energy, reduced pain, and better recovery outcomes.
