I was completely blown away by not only Dr.Mikes professional and expert knowledge in the chiropractic field by also his caring and warm demeanor. My 15 year son and I were visiting NYC from Austin, TX and my son was experiencing shooting pain in his spine and neck, so bad that he was having a hard time walking or turning his neck. On a Saturday at 4:55p (5 mins before the office closes, without an appointment and after a long day of work) Dr.Mike was gracious enough to see us and help with immediate pain relief. He asked very thoughtful questions and explained the treatment he was performing, and also helped us better understand the cause of the pain. I really couldnt have asked for a better experience with a doctor. So very thankful!!!

When I first went to Families First I was in such incredible pain from sciatic nerve issues that I could hardly walk. Dr Mike used a sonogram treatment relieving deep muscle trauma which worked so well that I noticed a difference in the pain level right away. After a few more treatments I was able to walk my usual distances again.

The doctor sets out a game plan to give you an idea of the bigger picture and a possible end date. (Wow! this will go away?,I thought to myself. What hope! )
Sure enough it was as he advised. And now, I am stronger and more positive since seeing him.

I can't say enough about Dr. Mike. He is by far the best Doctor I've ever seen. When we met, he greeted me with a smile and immediately made me feel comfortable. He sat down, listened to everything I had to say, and heard all my complaints about my lower back and knee. After telling him everything I felt, he knew exactly what it was and what to do so that the pain would disappear. He is knowledgeable, caring, and has a great sense of humor.

I feel so much better already that I wish I had gone to Dr. Mike when the pain started a year ago. Today was my second time in his office, and I am so thankful for him and look forward to seeing him every week. But of course, even when the pain is gone, I will continue to see him just for a tune-up at least once or twice a month because as we get older, we need it. Lol.

Dr Mike is truly amazing. I was able to schedule a last minute appointment on a Monday after I threw my back out in a major way. By the end of the week I was feeling like a brand new person. Dr Mike met me with a warm and patient attitude along with incredible applied knowledge as he treated my back. I think he has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've met. He went above and beyond to clearly explain and comfort gauge as he treated me. I feel so much better. Highly recommend!

Dr. Polanski is the best chiropractor we have come across. My wife had been having issues with lower back pain for last couple of years. Once in a while, she would have episode of spasms in the back and altered walking. When this happened over the weekend, he was the only chiropractor available so we went to him after seeing his amazing google reviews.

We were truly impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and truly caring nature. He examined my wife and answered her million questions with happy face. He correctly diagnosed her with having SI joint issue and recurrent dislocation of sacro-iliac joint. He was able to help her with pain and she was able to walk straight again. We have been there few times since that episode, and she has slowly gotten better.

He also recommended her amazing physical therapy place few blocks from his office. His staff is very courteous and very helpful. Once my wife had sudden spasm and all appointments were taken on that day. His staff discussed our condition with Dr. Polanski, and Dr. Polanski was so nice to see her as last patient even though that was his last day just before going on vacation. We were so touched by his caring nature and honest opinion. We will definitely recommend anyone to his practice. Very hard to come across truly caring doctor in New York.

Excellent experience every time. Been seeing Dr. Mike for about 5yrs. He treats my neck from an old ski injury I had very little range at start, now it is great He also treats my chronic back issues. His Treatment is such a amazing! A truly Great guy.

I consulted with Dr. Mike several times during the third trimester of pregnancy for sciatica and SPD pain. He is a very knowledgeable chiropractor and diagnosed the problems almost immediately upon examination. He was able to implement some manual interventions that were effective to reduce pain and improve mobility. He appears to possess a lot of knowledge about musculoskeletal issues during pregnancy. He is also funny and pleasant to work with - I highly recommend his services!

I started seeing Dr Mike after my first baby for pain in my neck and back. He quickly diagnosed the problem and after a short series of treatments the pain was gone. He's a good listener and takes a holistic approach, including prevention. He and the staff are very accommodating when I don't have a sitter and need to bring the kids along.
