I have been a student of nutrition literally by necessity from the age of four. This began when my father, who lived a very active and stressful lifestyle, had a heart attack the age of thirty-seven. His health continued to decline and his ability to function in his daily activities plummeted, which was culminated by not only a second heart attack but a third attack by the time he was forty-one years old.
