Orthospinology is a chiropractic technique that maintains head and neck alignment and is designed to remove interference around the brain stem. It is a system of evaluating, locating and adjusting subluxations (a misaligned vertebrae) of the upper cervical spine. The first vertebra, called Atlas or C1, is the only point where contact is made for the adjustment.
