I have suffered back pain for ten years. After my second pregnancy and numerous attempts to get back into running my back finally gave up and I found myself unable to even stand up. Dr. D is not only a amazing person, he is amazing at what he does! I am 26 years old and have been lifting weights for about six years. Coming to Dr. D I was having hip and lower back pain that was sometimes debilitating. Dr D did a full spinal assessment and found problems I didn't even know I had. He explains everything throuroughly and in a very understandable way. Now that I have been seeing him for about a month my pain has decreased significantly and I feel like my problem is actually going to be healed/fixed.

I've been going to Active Health on and off since I was pregnant with my daughter (2 years old) and today was the day that solidified my belief in chiropractic care. I've always "believed" in the benefits but today was legitimately a curing experience. Last night/this morning I have been pretty debilitated by what seemed to be an inner ear infection. I couldn't even turn my head without dizziness that caused instant nausea.
I felt like I couldn't function. I was adjusted this morning at 10:30AM. It's 4:16PM and I feel completely normal. Over the past 6 hours I have felt my pain, pressure and vertigo gradually disappear. I'm sold, take my money.

This is my second time going back to Dr. Darrell and he is just awesome. After just a few adjustments I was already feeling like new and it is amazing that when your spine feels good the rest of you just naturally wants to feel good too. The BEST! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vol and his office. I am a busy mother of 3 and have worked for years in the nursing field caring for the elderly which has put a strain on my body. I was still in my 30's but couldn't stand up straight or walk for long periods with out being in pain. My friend and physical therapist who would try to assist me finally recommended Dr. Vol and I haven't felt better. He truly cares about your health and is very compassionate. He doesn't just care about me but also cares and wants to know how my family is doing as well! Highly recommend!

I can't even imagine how much more difficult this pregnancy (#4) would be without the gentle, consistent chiropractic care I have received from Dr. Darrell. While I have always had back problems pre-pregnancy (and no chiropractic care), my back felt strong during this pregnancy. He is always ready to answer my questions, takes a natural approach to health, and his receptionist (Samantha) is right on top of things. It's been a very positive experience and I would recommend Active Health Chiropractic to anyone!
