Founder

Founder of Mantonya Chiropractic Center, Dr. Mantonya graduated from Palmer College in 1971. He has advanced training in nutrition, sports injury, and X-ray interpretation. A published researcher, he received the Ambassador Award twice from Palmer College and was nominated for Chiropractor of the Year in 1985.

Gregg A. Mantonya

Director of Clinics

As Director of Clinics, Dr. Gregg Mantonya leads the Newark location. A graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College, he completed a masters program in whiplash treatment from the Spine Research Institute. He has advanced training in pediatric chiropractic and sports injury management since joining the family practice in 2000.

Erin E. Gallaher

Chiropractor

Dr. Erin Gallaher specializes in acupuncture and chiropractic care at the Hebron office. As one of Ohio's first 100 certified chiropractic acupuncturists, she graduated from National University of Health Sciences. She joined Mantonya in 2010 after completing her undergraduate studies at Heidelberg College.

J. L. Gallaher IV

Chiropractor

Known as Dr. J to patients, he provides chiropractic care at the Newark location. A graduate of National University of Health Sciences, he joined Mantonya in 2011 after practicing in Dublin. He combines his chiropractic expertise with experience in therapeutic exercise and nutrition counseling.

Nicole Coventry

Chiropractor

Dr. Nicole Coventry joined Mantonya after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College in 2024. A Newark native, she completed her internship at Mantonya before becoming a full-time doctor. She specializes in modern chiropractic techniques and patient-centered care approaches.

I have never been to a chiropractor before this visit. I just turned 49 years old and wanted to get checked out as this office was highly recommended. I did not need much in the way of adjustments, but the staff was courteous, respectful and made me feel welcome and attended to. Dr. Gregg was fantastic at explaining everything he did prior to doing anything and explained what it would help. I highly recommend them and will continue here for my care.

Dr. Gallaher was awesome! He was thorough and explained everything in terms I could easily understand. He was professional and listened attentively and I'm finally feeling relief from my back and neck pain. I would recommend Dr. Gallaher and Mantonya Chiropractic to anyone in need of chiropractic services. To top it off I also received a lovely flower for Mother's Day from the reception people on my way out. Super good experience!

My son (14) suffered an injury that left him with severe back pain. After just a few sessions, Dr J had him on the road to recovery. We are now six weeks into his treatment and not only has his back pain been eliminated but we have noticed an improvement in his posture and even an improvement with his running form. My daughter (9) had her first visit today and is already looking forward to her next appointment.

She does not have any injuries, her treatments are just for wellness. All of the staff members are super friendly, the facility is clean and the wait times are very minimal. They respect your time but they never make you feel rushed, they genuinely care. I highly recommend that you give Mantonya a try.

Dr J is awesome. He is always thoughtful and pleasant to conversation with and very thorough. I have been in 3 accidents and he makes me feel so much better with a snap, crackle and pop. The staff is pleasant as well.
