Terrible experience: This facility was better few years back, now its just money grab and I see these reviews are not genuine. Better ones out there

1) I have lower back pain and I visited for an appointment with Dr.Sandra McGourty. I explained her the issue and she responded well with all my concerns, did some adjustments on my back. Then she asked me to go for sports rehab and ART. She was in a hurry to leave before I asked about the billing.
2) Once she left the Sports rehab guy approached me and wanted to start the rehab session.

Then I asked the billing guy adjacent to him if I have to pay anything today at all and he said nothing for today. I asked him again if I have to pay anything like copay, any money out of my pocket for today as I was doubtful and dont trust these doctors. He said nothing. I was doubtful and questioned him again but got same response. I asked him if anything for Sports rehab and ART as it was recommended by the doctor and I dint ask for it.

He said nothing to be paid. So I went ahead with sports rehab and ART after clarification
3) This inexperienced guy with ART asked me if the intensity was ok and I said it was ok. slowly the intensity has increased and it has gone to the level of burning my skin, I have been constantly shouting out of pain for 10 to 15 times and then I could not take it anymore and opened the door and shouted. Luckily another guy ran and came and removed the ART and said you could have removed this by myself and also said the guy who was operating it on me should have told me the safety concern as to how to switch it off.

I can still feel the burn and pain even now. I would not recommend this to anyone with these irresponsible people around. Such negligence on patients is unacceptable
4) Once I was off ART and the guy who operated it on me didnt even look at me or say sorry
5) I was leaving and the lady at front desk asked me to pay 147$ and I am shocked and told her that I asked the billing guy if i am going to be charged as per my insurance and he said zero for today.

I called that guy and now he starts lying that he dint say. i am pissed and wanted to talk to the doctor about the same. The lady at front desk is the most rudest lady i ever spoke with, she would lie that doctor is not here anymore and wanted me to schedule a new session.I asked for the breakdown of the bill and she would not do it arguing that it would come to the email. I asked is it not your responsibility to show the breakdown for what I have been charged of 147$, she would say no one asks for a breakdown of bill before they pay. She would go onto argue and she would be the lady no one wants to have at the front desk. very demanding and no empathy at all.
6) I paid 147$ and I said I will never visit this facility again.

I am very pleased with my experience at United Wellness. Dr. Moose is super friendly and VERY knowledgeable. From day 1, I truly felt he cared about my chronic foot pain, and wants to see me get better/stronger. He is a great listener and easy to connect with. The front desk staff is very friendly and gets to know you immediately. The clinic is very clean. I would definitely recommend United Wellness and Dr. Moose to others.

I have been going to United Sports and Health Rehab for the last 2 years. It is one of the most comprehensive Physical Therapy offices I've ever been in. I highly recommend it. The therapist stays with you the entire visit and make sure that you are doing the exercises correctly and that your body is in alignment. I also love their Chiropractic services and I am especially fond of Dr Sandra McGourty. She a skill that Active Release Technique and a wonderful chiropractor. I highly recommend this office.

Elliot Jermyn has a wealth of experience and I feel confident he'll help me work towards resolving my back pain. He's also personable and real while making sure all my questions were answered.
