Dr. Caitlyn "Catie" Cortner, DC, leads our practice and has served Forsyth County families since 2018. After receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2016, Dr. Cortner became certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Our care is gentle and tailored to the different needs that arise throughout family life, including care for newborns, growing children, pregnant women, new mothers, and adults.We begin every care plan with a comprehensive history and examination, allowing our recommendations to reflect the needs of each individual patient. Prenatal care incorporates the Webster Technique, which provides a specific chiropractic assessment and adjustment intended to support pelvic balance and alignment throughout pregnancy. For infants and children, our light-pressure techniques are adjusted according to age and size. In addition, we offer non-surgical spinal decompression for disc-related neck and low back complaints, SoftWave therapy using extracorporeal shockwave technology for certain chronic musculoskeletal complaints, and craniosacral therapy for patients of all ages. Our services also include chiropractic care following car accidents and for personal injuries, with thorough documentation and coordination with attorneys, as well as ongoing family wellness care. Families travel to our office from Cumming and communities across Forsyth County, such as Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Suwanee, Dawsonville, and Ball Ground. Prenatal chiropractic care at our practice supports expectant mothers through the physical changes of pregnancy with gentle, non-invasive techniques. Proper spinal and pelvic alignment can improve comfort, mobility, and posture while supporting pelvic balance. Our use of the Webster Technique focuses on sacral and SI joint function, helping create conditions that support optimal fetal positioning and pregnancy comfort. 
We provide gentle, age-appropriate chiropractic care for infants, children, and teenagers. Our light-touch techniques are adapted to each child’s size and developmental stage, with comfort and safety in mind. We also offer Craniosacral Therapy to address tension and support nervous system function. Care is personalized to promote healthy development, sleep, digestion, and overall well-being. 
We offer Structural Chiropractic Care as a gentle approach suitable for individuals of all ages, including children and seniors. Care begins with digital imaging, nerve scans, and a comprehensive assessment to identify structural misalignments. At Arise, we use advanced spinal decompression technology as a conservative option for disc-related pain and other spinal conditions. We commonly address herniated or bulging discs, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and chronic neck or back pain. Care is tailored after a comprehensive evaluation. 
SoftWave Therapy offers a non-invasive approach to pain relief and tissue healing through specialized acoustic sound waves. We use this technology to target areas affected by pain, injury, inflammation, or limited mobility while supporting natural circulation and cellular repair. Treatments typically take 10–15 minutes and can be used for various muscle, joint, and soft-tissue conditions.

Everyone there is super sweet and has really help heal my daily neck pain. I came in last year a total mess. Trouble sleeping and turning my head were just a few issues I had. Since I began, my neck pain has almost fully diminished. Keep up with the exercises they give you and coming in routine are what truly helped me. We just love Dr. Cortner and all her staff.

If you are looking for complete chiropractic care, visit Arise! Dr Maddy and Dr Catie provide above and beyond the typical chiropractic care. The office staff are knowledgable and well-organized. They make it a point to know your name and welcome you each time you visit. The practice is well run and have systems in place that make it easy to schedule and a reminders that make hard to forget your appointment. Overall, it really deserves more than 5 stars. Arise knows how to provide great all around care and get results!

I am pleased that Dr. Caitlyn, Dr. Mady and the staff were very patient. They answered my questions without making me feel rushed. I learned new things about how the nervous system works from Dr. Caitlyn’s thorough explanation regarding my X-rays. My girls and I have been with Arise for just over two years now. We appreciate Dr. Catie and Dr. Kelly, as well as the entire office staff, and what they have done for us. I can't effectively articulate it with words, but overall we just feel better. Migraines are gone for me, we all sleep better, and health wise, we are immune stronger. The doctors are attentive and compassionate, truly get to know their patients, and address any and all of our concerns. We are thankful to be part of the Arise family.

Always considered chiropractor care a kind of scam. Couldn’t see a benefit. Now at 62 with plenty of pain and problems I was convinced to give it a shot by my fiancé.
The whole team knows I’m skeptical. However they remain positive, supportive and professional. Had my 3rd adjustment today and my sinuses opened which was a pleasant feeling seeing as I have been stuffed up for weeks.
I remain positive and am changing my opinion. I mean this may really work. It will be great to get rid of some aches and pain and hopefully sleep through the night.
The Arise team was definitely the right choice to help me on this journey. They are always smiling, supportive and make you feel at home.

While pregnant in 2023 I came to Arise for the Webster Technique to ‘flip’ my transverse baby. I felt so welcomed and well taken care of. Dr. Caitlyn is obviously passionate about what she does and wants her clients to thoroughly understand what is entailed with excellent chiropractic work. I have since moved out of town, but I truly wish I could come to Arise regularly. And YES! My baby flipped due to being treated at Arise!

I have loved my experience at Arise! I started in my second trimester (now in my third) and have seen a significant improvement in headaches, hip and pelvic pain, and round ligament pain. I started getting adjusted about 6 weeks ago. I began in the middle of my pregnancy and have had such an amazing experience with Arise! Everyone who works there is not only so friendly, but genuine. Such an amazing place! I've been looking for a chiropractor who does exercises and X-rays for years, literally 5 years! I'm so happy I've found Arise - Dr. Cortner is a wonderful asset to your spinal health. She is kind and open to listening to you. Within 2 adjustments I was able to move w/o pain and I know it's just going to keep on getting better. I even brought my kids in to get examed and have found that the issues they are feeling are directly related to their spinal health. Before you go to another doctor for your symptoms, consider Arise!
