Healing Journeys
Report
A Journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Many people suffer from health problems that are caused by past emotional traumas or thinking patterns, but often they have no understanding of the real, underlying cause of their physical symptoms, and so no way to really begin to heal. In Healing Journeys: Stories of Mind, Body & Spirit, Dr. Kevin Kita tells the stories of six patients and their journeys to health.
KST Technique
Report
In this office we offer a unique, breakthrough approach to patient care called Koren Specific Technique (KST). There is no twisting, turning, "cracking" or "popping" of joints with KST; instead, you receive gentle, specific corrections to your spine and structural system. Most adjustments or corrections are done with you standing or sitting.
KST & Cranial Bones
Report
Your skull is not a single bone but is made up of many cranial bones. You have eight larger bones that protect your brain and 14 smaller bones that make up the lower front of your skull. Your cranial bones do not fuse but remain distinct and separate throughout life; each bone has its own unique movement.
KST & The Hump Pattern
Report
Doctor, I've been worried about my hump Will it get worse? Can you fix it? Unlike the more well-known dowager's hump, the upper thoracic hump is more common and is found in younger as well as older people. Some humps are barely noticeable; others are very large. Only proper analysis will determine if the spinal column and other structures of the hump pattern are subluxated.
