Dr. Reginald Hug acquired the practice in 1971 and built a model for chiropractic care that was ethical, honest and based on quality research. In 2003 he announced his successor, Dr. Brad Russell, who has endeavored to use contemporary scientific evidence to provide the best care not only to the over the mountain community but now to the greater Birmingham area as well.Recognizing the need for high quality chiropractic care in adjacent areas around Birmingham, we began recruiting exceptional like-minded chiropractors who strive to deliver superior, conservative treatment.

Brad Russell was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, where he attended Briarwood Presbyterian Church and school. He graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 1992 and went on to The Citadel--The Military College of South Carolina where he was awarded scholarships for both academics and soccer.
