Next-Gen Chiropractic & Wellness Services in Harpers Ferry
Harpers Ferry Chiropractic was founded in 2007 by Dr. Alissa Harris, originally from Grantsville, West Virginia. What began as a traditional chiropractic practice has evolved into a full-spectrum wellness clinic blending hands-on healing with functional medicine, biohacking, and intelligent recovery technologies. The clinic expanded into a newly built facility in Bolivar, West Virginia, in 2016 to offer a wider range of services under one roof. The team integrates chiropractic care, massage therapy, functional medicine, and AI-driven treatment planning to address structural, biochemical, and neurological imbalances. Their approach considers structural alignment, muscular function, neurological balance, nutritional needs, and overall vitality.

Services include personalized care plans for pain management, hormone balance, stress reduction, and mobility issues. The clinic emphasizes patient education through workshops and wellness classes. Modern tools like PEMF therapy, red light therapy, and BrainTap support regeneration and longevity. The team works closely with other healthcare providers for comprehensive support. With over 15 years of experience, the clinic combines traditional chiropractic with advanced training and technology. Their mission is to help patients feel better, move better, and age with strength through natural, intelligent healing.

Services
Chiropractic Care
Our chiropractic services use Applied Kinesiology to identify structural, chemical, and emotional imbalances. We employ diversified manual adjustments, drop-table techniques, and soft tissue therapies to restore nervous system function. Patients receive personalized treatment plans addressing neck/back pain, joint stiffness, and mobility issues through non-invasive methods.
Massage Therapy
Licensed massage therapists provide deep tissue, cupping, and lymphatic drainage therapies. Sessions focus on myofascial release and functional movement improvement. Treatments help reduce muscular tension, improve circulation, and enhance recovery from injuries or chronic conditions through customized 30-90 minute sessions.
Functional Medicine
Functional medicine evaluations include lab testing for gut health, hormones, and detox pathways. Personalized nutrition plans and AI-assisted treatment strategies address root causes of chronic conditions. Services focus on balancing female hormones, improving digestion, and reducing inflammation through science-based protocols.
Biohacking Therapies
Our recovery room features PEMF therapy for cellular repair, red light therapy for mitochondrial support, and BrainTap sessions for cognitive recovery. These non-invasive technologies reduce inflammation, enhance skin health, and accelerate healing when combined with traditional treatments for optimal results.
Neurological Rehab
Functional rehabilitation assesses gait, posture, and movement patterns to create personalized neuroplasticity programs. Using laser-guided training and visual-motor tools, we improve coordination and balance. This therapy helps patients recover from injuries, reduce compensatory patterns, and regain confidence in daily activities.

I went for knee rehab. Everything was going well until she put my hips into the wrong alignment and now I am swollen and hips are locked up. Have to under go injection and lower muscles overstretched. Horrible experience

Wonderful experience. The receptionist was kind and warm and helped me fill out the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Then Dr. Harris was the best chiropractor I have ever been to. She listened and took the time to really understand where I was hurting and why. She then cracked me from neck to lower back and I feel wonderful. She even had me move around and asked if I was still in pain, I was so she continued working until she could resolve my immediate pain.

Repeat visits will be necessary to completely fix the problem, but at least now I don't have a stabbing pain every time I bend. I didn't feel rushed or like I was wasting her time, she listened and cared! Great visit!

Alyssa started my treatment out with a thorough intake. She was helpful with nutritional suggestions for chronic pain that I've been experiencing in my hips and thighs for over a year. I enjoyed her chiropractic technique, it's not aggressive while still being effective. Not only did I feel better when I left but I had learned something as well. Nikole
