Before we get into our focus, we want to be clear on what the conventional chiropractor is attempting to accomplish with their care. In our opinion those are some EXCELLENT goals and most chiropractors are great at obtaining them, but we are unique. Most of the cases that we see in our office, which are commonly by referral from other local chiropractors and medical doctors, are for the correction of significant Structural Shifts of the spine.

What Is A Structural Shift

While no one is structurally perfect, there is a normal range. In the same manner, we can understand what a fever is because we know what normal temperature should be, we can look at the spine and determine if a structural shift has occurred by comparing them to an established set of normal measurements.

Secondary Conditions

Report

Once a Structural Shift is present and disrupting the spinal nerves and spinal cord, it can create many different Secondary Conditions, or symptoms. These are called Secondary Conditions because they are a result of the Primary Structural Shift, which is the actual underlying cause. Secondary Conditions are your body's warning system and they develop to let you know that something more serious may be present. The location of the Structural Shift, where the nerves are affected, will give us an idea about your Secondary Conditions.
